old holiday in is now the courtyard by Marriott not true
i called the 800 phone number for the marriott and they told me that their is no marriott in the grand caymans does any on know where the burger king is .i was told that you can swim and snorkel there it is a small beach can any one help

We just got back from the cruise. We took a taxi and he dropped us off next door to the Hyatt. I can't remember the name of the club parking lot we were in but you had to pay to get in there. There is a path down the left of the Hyatt that you can walk to the beach. You can use the Hyatt beach for free but not the chairs or facilities. (We confirmed this with a Hyatt employee, didn't know if we could trust the taxi driver) I didn't do any snorkling, but I don't think it was very good there. Nice sand beach and the water nice. My one warning, we went up to the Hyatt to have lunch out on their deck, it was very expensive.

If you go the the www.marriott.com website you can look up Cayman Islands and it shows that not one, but 2 Marriotts are on Grand Cayman. One is a Marriott Grand Cayman Beach Resort, the other is Courtyard Grand Cayman. The courtyard allows the $10 day use of the pool and beach. Obviously the 800 # was wrong. I have also heard that the Hyatt allows day guests.

Happy to help. We plan to go there in just 5 weeks. Can't wait!
Those 800#'s can make you crazy . We once made a reservation through an 800 hotel number for Richmond, VA. When we arrived, NO ROOM. When we gave our confirmation number, turned out the room they booked us in was in Richlin, TEXAS!!
