Beaches & Cream - worth a special trip

I wouldn't make a special trip again. I had such high expectations after all of the great postings. After walking around for what seemed like forever (poor directions) we found this tiny place. We had a 30 minute wait to sit at a table barely large enough for all of us (2 adults & 2 kids). The food wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.

Start your day early at Magic Kingdom.....then about 1:00pm.....switch and go to MGM, or EPCOT by taking a bus to the Yacht or Beach Club.

Relax, take a stroll. You will have missed the lunch crowd and you can have a nce peacefull lunch and icecream. The chocolate milk shakes are the best.

After lunch....walk or boat to EPCOT or MGM.

DO NOT try and eat at beaches during peak lunch, dinner, or after illuminations.

WAZZO - My mom & I are just like you & your mom. This is one of our faves & a contributing factor to staying at BCV.

Now, if they would just expand it by taking out that incredibly loud and obnoxious arcade!

Is this the place that has the 'kitchen sink' thing?

YES!

On my last trip I hoped to have enough people (more than 2) to order it, but no dice. :confused3

I have seen it being made on a number of occasion, and WOW! :cloud9:

Are you able to get the sundaes, etc to go? We plan on going around 3 or 4 pm just for ice cream, but I was wondering if take out is possible if it is packed when we arrive?

DW and I was in B&C in Oct for our 1st time. It is a small place and tables where full,so we set at the counter. It was super we loved it. DW had the grilled chicken and I had the cheese buger. We both said it was the best we had ever eat. It was fun to watch when they brought out the kitchen sink. We watch a table of 4 eat it down with nooooooo problem. Then this guy and his wife got only about half eaten. Yes we had a sundae we both had a hot fudge sundae. We are going to be at WDW in May 08 and already going for dinner at B&C. It is worth the walk or boat ride to it.:cheer2:

I went once & ordered one of the sundaes. I can't remember for sure which one. It was way too rich for me. That banana split looks right up my alley though. I may have to make another trip to try that next time. :teeth:

We visit WDW once a month, and we have eaten at B&C each of the last 6 months:banana: To us its a cant miss. While I can see how some think it is the same burger/patty, everything is always so fresh that it does taste much better, plus the buns are toasted and believe it or not that makes a big difference:thumbsup2
