I've seen the pictures of the No Way Jose on the boards, and I WANT ONE!! They look soooo yummy! My question is, I've heard that Beaches N Cream is a small place and you can't get adr's for it. How long would I have to wait if I just wanted the no way jose, and not dinner? Is it worth the wait? And is this big enough for 2 people to share?

I was really disappointed, since I was expecting better than grocery store ice cream (its Edy's). But its one of the few places on property to get a sundae if that is what you want, and there isn't anywhere that really serves good ice cream (I like Ghiradelli better, but its still mass produced mass market ice cream - I'm an ice cream snob and going out for ice cream at my house means small shop handmade ice cream). The wait will depend on when you go and how lucky you are - show up after Illuminations and its a LONG wait. Show up at 4pm and you have a decent chance of walking right in.

We have always had to wait at Beaches and Cream....the kids love it, and we have only ordered the kitchen sink....with lots of spoons :goodvibes We liked the ice cream and the atmosphere...just be prepared to wait 30 minutes to get a seat. They do have a take out window with some seats outside.

It's worth the wait no matter what you want(or use the take-out window). Not sure if it's big enough for 2.

You can't use the take out window for the sundaes.

I would suggest going around 3pm or so. There may be a wait, but you should be avoiding major lunch and dinner crowds. You'll wait just as long as anyone waiting for a meal, and yes, two people can share that thing.

You can get a regular sundae, but you are right, not the "specialty" sundaes.

As other posters have said.It is good, but a tad overrated.the take out window does not serve food or sundaes.the waits depend on when you go.This place is way too small for the amount of buisness it does.On busy times of day you can wait up to 45mins for a table.Go at opening or at off times.Definitely avoid right after illuminations ends. This place gets mobbed!

Oops, thanks for clarifying. That's what I meant. The take out window is just for your basic beverages, shakes and floats, and the typical ice cream cones and sundaes you'd get at your local ice cream place.

The No Way Jose is definitely served only as a "sit down" guest.

We usually go around 2pm and usually have a 5 minute wait. We do tell the hostess we're willing to sit at the bar since some do not want to sit up there. The No Way Jose is definitely big enough for two.
