Hey there,

I'm making my preliminary plans for our trip in May & would like to take the kids to Beaches & Cream. I think my son would get a huge kick out of the kitchen sink.

Since I've never been there, do they take ADR's?

Anyone want to relate their kitchen sink experiences, complete with photos???

TIA everyone!

Chris

They do not take ADR's so it's best to go at "off" times IMO. We always went for a late lunch 1:30/2:00 and had a shorter wait. Honestly though, the restaurant is small so it's likely that there will always be a wait.

I'm hoping someone will come in and post their kitchen sink pics for you, it's HUGE!

This is from 3 years ago but it still looks the same because we had 1 in October of this year.

My children loved the kitchen sink. The server turned down the lights, strobe lights came on, and she announced to the entire (small) restaurant that we were 5 little piggies who thought we could finish the Kitchen Sink. The kids were totally surprised. I had them to go wash their hands and she came over and I ordered it. They were completely surprised. They thought we had a very slow server.

we are glad we had the experience but from now on we will have individual sundaes to share. Too much ice cream and too much going on in the Sink.

Go for it. :thumbsup2 Take lots of pics. My kids love talking about it and showing all their friends.

As far as timing goes, we were there last Thursday around 4:30 and we were the only ones in the place. I specifically went at an off time to avoid a wait, but I didn't expect it to be empty. The place is teeny tiny, so going at off times is definitely the way to go.:thumbsup2

Anyone know if you can get the Kitchen Sink from the to go window? We went to Beaches n Cream in November in 2006 and it was so loud (besides all of the noisy people, Beaches in Cream is opened up to the arcade blocked by a single rope gate) and cramped and FULL of people (about 9:30-10 p.m. during the week). We saw the outside window where you could order items to go and then they had pretty little outdoor eating areas that were empty around Stormalong Bay. I wanted to go again but we will be sitting outside this time. The sundaes are awesome! We didn't get the kitchen sink (as I don't like melting ice cream with toppings) but I tried all of the different sundaes/milkshakes everyone else got and they were SO good!!

We were just there for the first time last week. Another family specifically asked the lady working outside B&C if they could get the Kitchen Sink outside, and she said "no". We were told it could be about a 40 minute to an hour wait. I thought to myself "no way could it be that long", so we waited. I was right actually..it took only 10 minutes. Once we walked in, I realized why she told us so long. I never knew the place was so tiny! We went for lunch around 1pm.
