We haven't been to WDW since '94 so we are unfamiliar with anything built since then. Would like to use Q & C vouchers at the most highly recommended spots. Can anyone tell me what is the proximatey of Beaches and Cream to EPCOT? And the Pepper Market to AK? What form of transportaion do you use and how long does it take? When I am in the parks I like to stay for the whole day. I will chose to eat inside the park if these restaurants will take too much time away from touring.
This Disney planning has become quite technical, hasn't it?
Soon they will be granting degrees on the subject! :p
I'm sure that there has never been a more enjoyable education !!:teeth:

Beaches and Cream is located at the Beach Club Resort which you can walk to from EPCOT (or ride a boat) just outside of the International Gateway. Should take you about 5 or 10 minutes to get to. If you leave EPCOT make sure you get your hand stamped so you can get back into the park. Beaches & Cream is definetly worth going to!

Pepper Market is the food court inside the Coronado Springs Resort and is about a 5 minute drive from the Animal Kingdom. You would either have to drive your car - or take the Coronado Springs Resort bus from the Animal Kingdom. Personally, we have stayed at the CS 3 different times and we just avoid the Pepper Market. We just do not like it at all!

lenniemc is right about locations and times.
And B&C is a great place to check out.
We are big fans of Pepper Market.
Its our favorite food court at WDW.
We have never stayed at CS but make a trip to Pepper Market on each visit to WDW.

If you are spending the whole day at AK you might want to dine in the park. But we like to park hop and work our meals into the hop. Morning at AK, lunch at Pepper Market, hop to next park.

Happy Planning.

We are also fans of Pepper Market, and even bigger fans of B&C :).

B&C is great because you can walk there from Epcot. It is a nice walk, and you get to see some of the Epcot resort area. Great food, great ice cream, and great value with the vouchers.

We like Pepper Market a lot. We always eat there when we stay at CSR, and when we stay at other resorts it is worth making a trip to. It is not your typical food court, and can be a little more expensive than typical food courts. However, you get to sit down at a real table and get a little bit of service. The food offerings are also more interesting than your typical Disney food court. We have found the food quality to be pretty good. Pepper Market is a great value with the Q&C vouchers. Oh, the size of the slab of prime rib we got last time we were there - and it was good. The ribeye steak is also good, and the fresh salmon, too. DW likes the Mexican food, but I think the grill station is the best. The other stations have average food that will net you so so savings with the vouchers. The Khalua Creme Brulee is excellent!!!

As for going to Pepper Market from AK, I'd wait and save it for Dinner. A full day at the AK ends at 5:00, and you could then take a bus (unless you'll have a car) to CSR and have an early dinner. Since AK closes earlier than other parks it may not make sense to leave AK for lunch.

Well, maybe that's our problem - we've only ever eaten breakfast there. We've never really had a good breakfast so we haven't tried anything else. (cold food - hard pastries) The other problem we had was having to pay the tip when we only got a bagel and drink - and after being shown to our table we waited on ourselves. A couple of times we never did see a server. After the second time that happened we complained and we didn't have to pay the tip. But still - I would not recommend Pepper Market for breakfast. I'd make the trip to Spoodles or Boatwrights!

But like anything else, you can eat someplace one time and it will be great and the next time it may not - I just know with all the choices at WDW to eat - Pepper Market is low on the list.

Another vote for Beaches and Cream- It is very convenient to get to from Epcot and a great deal on the vouchers!:D

Many thanks to all for your great replies!! I have much more info on these 2 locations now and can almost picture our family strolling from EPCOT to B&C. We will probably try the Pepper Market too, if we can get the vouchers. I'm a bit hesitant to deal with Connections though, after reading today's post from Mary Waring (see "Connections Mousesavers' link MIA?" on the budget board). :(

We've had wonderful experiences with our Connections. This was my second time joining. Our coupons come quickly and have had great value. There seems to be less trouble if you join and order on line. It's when you talk to a human the problems began. The only time I talked to a human, I got double the Q & C I ordered. I didn't mind paying for them though, as we were meeting someone at Disney that didn't have one, so we were able to sell her one of our extras. We'll use the rest on another trip.

It's a sad state of affairs when one gets better service from a "machine" than a human! I'm finding that to be true more and more though. It seems to be hit or miss with Connections. I am still tempted to give them a chance, but if I get screwed I'll be kicking myself and you can be sure you'll read about it on a post of mine! (In all fairness, I'll post any good experiences too.) Definately will do my business w/ them online rather than by phone. Thanks for the advice.:D

We have had good experiences with our Connections membership. I always order on-line. Hva ealways gotten the right things and they always come quickly.
