Beaches & Cream at 9:45 pm? & DDE?

Do you think Beaches & Cream will be very crowded at 9:45 pm? My cousin wants our families to share an Illuminations Cruise and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for my family to try the "kitchen sink" afterwards.

.....also does anyone know if Beaches & Cream takes the DDE card?

B&C does take DDE. I've used it there a number of times.

We've never gone to the restaurant that late but from other posts, I gather that B&C is usually busy after Illuminations.

B&C is packed at usual eating times (noon, 6pm) AND after Illuminations. I would never try to get in at this time. (We've stayed at BCV about 4 times and eat at B&C multiple times during each trip.)

Keep in mind that until they complete the expansion, B&C only has about 3 booths, 4-5 tiny tables, & 8-10 stools at the "bar".

Ditto here! We eat at B&C about once a month and this is the first I am hearing of something like this. Unless they a)do away with the to go line and make it tables or b) take over part of the game room, not sure how they can expand

They take DDE, but only at the restaurant. It is not accepted for carryout. (You can only carry out ice cream, not food).

Okay then, since it is so crowded after Illuminations.....

We need to be at the Marina at I believe 7:30......I guess we would need to get to B&C by 5:30 - 6 o'clock to be able to eat a Kitchen Sink beforehand which is dinnertime .....

I will have to figure out something else I guess....

I believe I read on the allears.net newsletter - reported from a guest - that they are FINALLY going to move the wall next to the arcade. This would shrink the arcade and enlarge B&C. This is something I've recommended to Disney for the past 5 years.

I'm praying this will be a reality by Dec.
