Beaches & Cream and the DP

Are all desserts, sundaes etc. at Beaches and Cream usable as the dessert portion of your credit?

If using a TS credit (me and DBF are planning on splitting one for lunch) what can you get as an app? Onion rings?

It depends on who you ask. Currently, two different offices at Disney are providing diametrically contrary information about that. The folks responsible for answering questions guests pose, like that, say sharing Dining Plan meals isn't permitted. They'll provide that advisory in writing. OTOH, rumor is that folks at Disney Dining's offices will verbally tell people that it is okay to share meals (and, of course, servers are allowing it in most, but perhaps not all, cases), as long as you're not sharing with anyone not on the Dining Plan. They won't, however, put that in writing, at least not so far.

No. And there is no such thing as "dessert credits" on the DDP. One TS credit gets you an appetizer, entree and dessert.

Last time we were there, Beaches and Cream was a part of the DDP, but the Kitchen Sink was NOT allowed as your dessert. You have to pay out of pocket for that.

Just remember that Beaches and Cream is a TS credit, not a CS or snack credit. A few folks have mistakenly thought this was a CS credit because of the level of food received and sadly found out the hard way.

When we were there in September we had a choice of onion rings, ceasar salad, or chicken noodle soup.

We also had no trouble sharing here.

As a general rule, you cannot pool credits to get items intended for more than one diner. Some restaurants may make special exception (and may even make the expection for some guests but not others ) but generally it's not something that is allowed, and I've never read about them allowing it at B&C.
