I hadn't really thought much of Beaches and Cream until I started reading the boards. Now, after reading the boards it sounds like it is a favorite among many. Should we try to fit it in our plan? If so, how? Do you jump out of Epcot or MGM for lunch? Do you stop there for a light dinner? Do you just drop in for an icecream treat? What do you think? Much thanks!

:flower: It is definately worth going to. We usually go for a treat at night, but be warned there have been many occasions when there has been quite a wait. But if you can stand a line it is awesome ice cream (try the kitchen sink)(ha-ha)! Have Fun! :wave2:

What we like most about B&C is that is a good place to stop for lunch going from or to Epcot or MGM. It is loud, noisy and a lot of action going on around you and since it such a small restaurant, it creates a feel like no other. When they bring out a "Kitchen Sink" it is done with a lot of fanfare and everyone knows that it is coming your way. B&C is a great family restaurant and it is well worth the wait.

It's definitely worth a visit. We try to stay at BC, so we fit it in whenever we can. Otherwise, I would make it a late lunch or early dinner around Epcot, through the International Gateway. Otherwise, you might have a long wait as it is fairly small and very popular.

We stopped there this past week. Arrived around 5:15 or so, with no wait. We were only getting ice cream. The food looked great, but we already had later dinner reservations. 4 of us split a banana split, and a No way Jose.

I had expected a much longer wait.

It's great for treats or a lunch/dinner. We've gone there on our "hang out at the resort and swim day". They have delicious juicy cheeseburgers (and Dh and split it and fries. DD got the kids hot dog...it was HUGE, HUGE, HUGE! DH had to eat half of it..2 kids could defintely split it (2 adults too probably). I wouldn't leave Epcot or MGM to go eat there because we eat at the parks we are at since we pay for the ticket and can only eat at those restaurants when we are at that particular park, but that's just us. It's a good place to go when you are tired of all the great food from the sit down down dinners too.

We went there for lunch yesterday. The burgers are awesome. The ice cream...WOW
For 5 people we got 3 sundaes. Definitely only needed about one. I liked the milky way sundae the best. The brownie mudslide one looked good, didn't try it. The No Way Jose had too much peanut butter. But they were awesome and HUGE. We'll go back there again in a heartbeat. If you go for lunch go by noon, or else it's packed

We were just there on 4/27 about 2:30 for a late lunch, we waited about 5 min for a table. I know when it's hot most people don't want soup, but they have the best chicken noodle soup. We had bacon cheeseburger, steak sub, chicken caeser salad, chicken sand.,and soup all were great. Their banana splits are awesome, it's definitely worth a trip.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Beaches and Cream Just a short walk from the international gateway at Epcot, behind the stormaway bay (pool). A dining voucher is agreat deal . You almost have to share because if you eat all the food you can't have possible eat any icecream. It's sinful to go and not have icecream. A special little place like no other. A neat little arcade next door is a great place to wait . I think there open til 11 for a snack after illuminations.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now Beaches and Cream is definitely on our list of things to do! I am so excited to try it! :cheer2:

We went on the last day of our trip (april 29th). We went just to get the kitchen sink. It was so funny trying to to eat that giant thing. We didn't have much of a wait. We went about 4:00pm. It's a neat little place and the menu looks nice.

My DH and are dying to try the kitchen sink..we have MYW with dining..is the kitchen sink considered a dessert?..or is it considered an entree? LOL..I just want to know if it is something we will have to pay extra for..if it's considered an extra..thanks

I want to try B&C on our next trip. Thanks for all the input.

do they have servers or do you walk up to get your food?

They have servers just like any sit down restaurant, but also have a counter where people walk up and get take out food and ice cream- B&C is considered a counter service.

Beaches and Cream is a tiny little burger joint with great ice cream sundaes. It's got a few small booths and a few small tables. The place is small. And it is connected to the arcade, so it is LOUD. If you're dying for an indulgent sundae, this is one a good place to find it, but there are others, and I wouldn't recommend anybody go out of there way just have lunch there.

Ah, at last, someone who can put Beaches and Cream in perspective. It's cute, its convenient for a quick lunch if you are staying at the Yacht and Beach Club, I like the ice cream but I fail to see the frenzy of those who would travel from the "other side of the world" to have a meal there. I am just puzzled. Years ago I was told by Y and B management that they closed Ariels to make Beaches and Cream bigger. It never happened. It probably won't happen. The reason they actually closed Ariels was because they didn't want to have yet another restaurant that serves "only dinner". Beaches and Cream will do fine with the space they have because there are tables outside and no matter how anyone wants to color it, it is what it is; FAST FOOD.

It is both table and counter. If real busy, counter will be quicker. The staff of servers at B&C are about as good as your are going to find. They are dedicated to their work and they make sure you receive good service.
