Beaches and Cream

Not a negative, but be aware that there are only 3 booths and 5 tables. Even with going at odd hours, we were never able to get in without an hour wait. They do not take ADR.

B&C does not and has not taken adrs. They are very very small place.Waits can easily be an hour or longer during peak times. They do have a walk up window but it is very limited in that no hot food is served, nor any of their trademark icecream concoctions. It is like sodas and ice cream bars only. The podium is outside the Beach Club pool area, and it is best to go for opening at 1100am for around 230-3pm. Dinner hours are busy as is right before and after Epcot closes /illuminations lets out.

Maybe the poster ment when you give your name at the podium, instead of an ADR? Yea, you can easily wait an hour there. I don't know why they didn't expand it when they put in the walk-up window.

Just making sure I understand this correctly. You're saying to go to B&C at 11 a.m., but not expect to eat until 2:30-3 p.m.? It's that good that people would be willing to miss that many hours at the parks?

It will take a minimum of 20 minutes to get to B&C from DHS - longer if you need to wait for a boat or are not a fast walker. (I suppose its shorter if you are a runner). Then 20 to get back to the parks. If you don't have to wait for a table (which is a big if - even if you get there right when they open) and plan on having dessert with lunch, it will take about an hour and a half out of your day to eat at B&C.

I found it to be one of the more disappointing Disney restaurants. The burger was nothing special (though they do have kaiser rolls to serve them on) and the ice cream is Edy's - we buy better for our home freezer.

I think they meant either 11 am OR 2:30 pm. Those are the two time frames I've seen people suggest. Personally, this is one of my planned days for this trip: a morning at DHS riding those cool rides and then a boat ride for a middle of the afternoon meal and then a late afternoon and evening in Epcot. It sounds wonderful! :goodvibes

Go at either of these time choices for less of a wait. I stay at the resort frequently and hang by the pool( where B&C is ) and can tell you, there is usually a wait sometimes only a few mins. The longest I have seen is 1 1/2hrs and this around lunchtime and was during free dining time.

if you come out the gates from hollywood studio's go to your left and eventually you will see the boat dock. the boats run often and it is not very far to the beach club dock. the ride is also very nice.:boat: :sail:

beaches and cream is a favorite of kids and teenagers so the wait can be long. if you are going during spring break..........forget it. it is my grandson's favorit..:cool1: real cool place with great food.

Always a "must do" for us each and every trip. The burgers are great and the mint chocolate chip ice cream is sinful!!

I should at the YC around 6:00 on 3/10 and am immediately heading down to Beaches and Cream for one of those mint chocolate chip cones as soon as I plunk my stuff down in my room!!

Definitely try it out and then walk around the YC/BC and Boardwalk area afterwards. You will love it!
