So hows the food there??? I showed my dad and my DH the kitchen sink and now they both wanna go get one and see if they can eat the whole thing and get it for free!!! Im pretty sure one of them will do it. My dad LOVES ice cream and could eat a good 8 scoops in one sitting!!! But we will do dinner there and I was wondering if its worth dinner or if we should eat before going for ice cream. TIA!!!

The food at B&C is (IMO) good burgers and fries. Love the onion rings too.

Never heard of getting the kitchen sink for free if you can eat it though :confused3

I have read about people ordering it to meet their likes though, eliminating toppings or changing the ice cream flavors.

And if they are both getting a kitchen sink, do they NEED food? :rotfl2:

Be sure to post pictures!:3dglasses

They don't offer much on the menu but I found it to be good. :goodvibes

I don't think it is free if you eat it all, I'm pretty sure you still have to pay for it.

We have only had desserts there and they were good. We would go back for dessert again.

It's decent "buger joint" fare. The ice cream is the real draw.

FYI, I can tell you for a FACT that they do not give you the kitchen sink for free if you (as in, one person) can eat it all. I've heard that "urban legend" before, but it's not true. Or it wasn't this past January when I confirmed it with a CM working there.

It IS huge, though. Our family put a decent dent in it, but even the 5 of us (granted, 3 of them were under the age of 6) couldn't come close to finishing it.

Maybe this year.

Really? Not free? Huh, I heard it on that samantha brown show on the travel channel if you eat it all its free. Wonder if they changed it or something.

Just wanted you to know that there is more than ice cream in the KS. It has brownies and cookies too. Pretty much everything they use for their deserts is in it. 3 cans of whipped cream (yes 3 cans) hot fudge, carmel, strawberry, nuts, sprinkles. Pretty much everything desert wise, including the kitchen sink. There are alot of "filling" items to get you full before finishing it. My DH can eat an entire 1/2 gallon at one sitting, but there's no way he could eat the KS.

I believe all you get are bragging rights for eating the kitchen sink. :cool2: But the burgers are good!:thumbsup2 popcorn::

They did offer it FREE if one person eats the whole thing, and they mean ONE person and The WHOLE thing. They gave the guy next to us a straw to drink the melted ice cream, and even expected the soggy cake and brownies to be gone too. They also kept a pretty close eye to make sure he didn't cheat and let other people in his party sneak a bite. This was awhile ago though not sure if they still do it.

We LOVE the icecream but aren't fans of the food and wouldn't opt to eat a meal there again. Having said that -- the onion rings are delicious!

Enjoy!

A meal of the double cheeseburger, onion rings, and chocolate malt at B&C is my idea of Food Heaven!! However, if you are even attempting to share the kitchen sink I wouldn't eat first. You're on vacation--eat the ice cream first, then see if you still have room for some food!

We have eaten there twice, great burgers and hot dogs, killer buns, awesome onion rings. They can make you a vanilla coke and the No Way Jose is to die for

Kitchen Sink

I believe the "free" part applies if one person, and one person alone, eats the whole thing. And I understand they are serious about that - someone watches to make sure no one else has any. They also mean it when they say there is to be no crumbs and no melted ice cream goo left over.

This may have changed, but they used to do it that way. I saw a guy say he'd eat the whole thing once. He gave up with a lot of it still left over.

I can't wait to eat at B&C for the first time ever! Less than a month until that burger, onion rings and ice cream!

BAC is awesome! Be aware that they installed new siren lights for when someone orders a Kitchen Sink ;)
