Beaches and Cream question...

We are not planning on eating at B&C, but would like to maybe try a shake or something from there. Can we order it to go, and enjoy them as we walk around the Boardwalk? Or would it be better to get a cool snack somewhere else on the Boardwalk? Thanks!
