Beaches and Cream or Plaza?

We are going to Celebrate my B'day in Jan we are on the dinning plan and thought about these 2 places but they seem to be a waste of a dinning credit? Yes/no?how is the food?

IMHO, I think that both of them aren't good ways to spend your dining credits...but value is different to each and every person.

Beaches and Cream has very good burgers and ice cream, but (again, MHO) the food is no better than what I can get at my local burger joint and ice cream parlor here at home. The dining area is small and can get crowded.

I've never been to the Plaza and I just know what I've heard on here about it being hit-or-miss. You gotta love that location, though.

If you are looking to increase your 'return' on your dining plan investment, Le Cellier, Chefs de France, and Tutto Italia have pricey meals that are included on the dining plan.

...but if you're going to be happier munching on a burger at Beaches & Cream than eating a filet mignon at Le Cellier, then go for it!

I love Beaches and Cream but I wouldn't waste a TS dining credit to eat there. The food is basically just burgers and sandwiches. The desserts may be worth it but they are too big to eat alone. With each person getting one on DDP there will be a lot wasted. I would choose Beaches and Cream but I would pay OOP and save that TS credit for something else.

I would choose Plaza, but I've had great experience in both. I've had the burger and the Kitchen Sink at B&C. They have the best burgers on property! I didn't enjoy the Kitchen Sink because most of it turned to mush, but the other sundaes etc looked great.

Plaza is amazing! Their toasted sandwiches are sooo delicious, and their fries are too! I have never had great service in the Plaza, but the food makes up for that. For dessert I had cheesecake which was wonderful, and I enjoy the theming of the restaurant too.

WE Have eaten at B & C before and really enjoyed it. Great burgers! I am hoping to get there again on our upcoming trip, but we will not waste a credit on it, & will pay OOP. Loved the No Way Jose!

In my opinion, both Beaches And Cream and The Plaza are a waste of credit on the DDP, since they are so much less expensive than other restaurants.

Who's birthday is it? That could help me suggest an alternative restaurant.

I have been to the Plaza before for lunch and I thought it was ok, although I haven't been back since then. I haven't been to Beaches and Cream before, however my family and I thinking about going there next month during our stay at the Boardwalk.
