Thanks I love this place but I am a bit of a planner and this is great news.

Do we know when this is starting? I have a hard time believing it is really booked solid from open to close for all three of the days we'll be in the Epcot/Studios area on our trip later this month. Is it possible that it is only taking reservations after a certain date?

Don't know but it's available when we're there in 2 weeks and the fam is going to Cape May one night (which I don't like...would LOVE to book myself and SIL2 at B&C instead).

Just playing around, I see it starting to show up after 12/18- that would be a weird day to start. Might want to call and see what Disney has to say about it. If so,please post their response ( as I am just curious). I was just surprised when I saw it come up when I was playing around with plans for May. We missed going last trip and was hoping that we could fit it in this time. Especially with the ADR, I think it will work

I am searching all day Jan 5th and nothing showing up from B&C. The B&C page itself does not have an ADR search function option.

I just went in under- things to do- make reservations- put in 2 for 5:30 on Jan 5th and B & C comes up as an option (5:10-.5:30-.5:50) It appears comes up as an option after Dec 18th .

Hmm. I managed to get a lunch by using website and NOT the app, but a dinner search gives me an error message. Maybe it's only for lunch? Or it's a glitch and they caught on?

I just played around again and got dinner to come up with any issues. I have a dinner ressie set for May

The issue appeared to be that my dinner res would be six people instead of the four I booked for lunch, and the system will only do four or less for B&C. Once I looked for a 2-top and a 4-top at 6pm they were both open.

It's under 'Beaches & Cream'...when I started typing Beaches and...nothing came up...not sure if that helps or not.

Ahhh...I was putting in for 2 guests.

I really would like to get a ressie for here. Tables of 4 show up but not for 5. Wonder what they would do if 5 of us show up?

Table size, interesting dilemma but, at least Disney is taking it into consideration. Not sure if that would have the space for the 5th if it's just a square table? If it's a booth, you could put them on the end.

Lots of places won't allow a chair on the end due to fire code (must have aisles clear, etc.). Don't know B&C's rule. For 5 people I would book two separate reservations at the same time for 3 and 2 or 4 and 1 and tell the staff at check-in that you want to sit together. That's my plan for my 4 and 2.

Just did that

12/31 Lunch teens get there own table of 3 and mom and dad get a table for 2.

I had to call to get the second table because would come up with already have a reservation and wanted me to cancel my other table to get a second table.

CRO was quick and easy and I checked MDE and I have both reservations

I might call tomorrow if I think about it. 12/18 really isn't a weird day to start if they want to have ADRs open and available for the holiday crowds - with most schools getting out for Christmas break on the 20th, the crowds will certainly start to arrive a few days earlier as families take advantage of the "disposable" school days immediately before the break to get a jump on the rush or to fit in some time at WDW before going to a relative's home for the holiday.

Just from looking at current availability it does look like 12/18 is the start date for this change. I see plenty of tables on and after that day, even during the Christmas/New Years week, but nothing for any day or time on or before 12/17.

Now that you mention it, 12/18 is exactly a week before Christmas so, it really doesnt seem that random. Maybe there is method to the magic.....
