We were just looking at the menu for Beaches and Cream and it doesn't list "desserts" exactly - it says "Ice Cream Creations" and some of them look pretty expensive (but very yummy). Does anyone know if these are the desserts that you are allowed to choose from if you are using the DDP?

I have never been on the dining plan so i really don't know but a No Way Jose has 3 scoops of ice cream ( could be shared depending ) and the Kitchen Sink has 8 scoops - it is really designed for a family to share.

B&C is a table service restaurant. It's a good meal to pay out of pocket, the menu price make it one of the lowest (non-breakfast) TS meals.

Actually, if you are in the mood for that kind of food, Beaches and Cream isn't necessary such a bad deal on he dining plan.

For instance-

Beaches and Cream:
appetizer: Chili $5.99
entree: Double burger $9.89
dessert: No Way Jose $7.99
drink: Soda pop $2.29

With tax and tip = $32.56

Dinner at Boma's:
Buffet: $25.99

With tax and tip = $32.35

And in my view - two people could probably split B&C but there is no chance of anyone splitting a buffet.

Good Point. We're planning on going to B&C and we're going to split it. There is no way each of us could eat all of this food. It's a good splitting option.

I know Beaches & Cream is considered a table service option but does anyone know if they allow you to take the dessert to go using the dining plan?
