We are considering eating at Beaches and Cream. Has anyone eaten there recently? Are the tables well spaced apart and was it crowded? Is it possible to eat outside? With it being a smaller restaurant I'm wondering how it does with social distancing.

Plexiglass up and hit or miss outside from what I have read.

Take a look on youtube there's been a couple reviews since covid.

We were there for an ' early ' dinner last week around 3:30 pm. It was busy, but not uncomfortably so. We stayed at BCV in November and noticed just how crowded it got without real social distancing at peak meal times, so when I found a 3:30 reservation during the week I was hopeful it wouldn't be as bad. It was a lot better than what it had been at dinner and lunch times. So definitely go on a non meal time. Hope you have a great time!
There are tables outside, but you would only be able to get food from the ' to go window' in order to eat outside, they do not have a full menu at that window...just ice cream, floats etc.

We ate there Wed at 6, and for lunch yesterday at 11:30. No issues with crowding.
❤French Dip.
:)

We didn't have any crowding issues when we were there during Thanksgiving. It was also one of the best meals we had.

We ate there a few weeks ago in a booth along the front wall. The neighboring booth was a tad closer than I would've liked, but it wasn't horrible.

My opinion is a little outdated now because we were there in October and maybe it's gotten better. We eat at Beaches and Cream every trip, and we cancelled it this year after seeing how crowded it gets inside the building (and outside) after the parks close. We wouldn't have felt comfortable. We almost didn't get take-out ice cream either because there were a lot of people not wearing masks close by because of the tables by the to-go window, and a few of the tables are super close to the restaurant area. Just try to get a lunch reservation or early dinner would be my advice. We did end up eating at Ale&Compass for the first time that night and really enjoyed it.

I didn’t have any issues with the table spacing there the week before Thanksgiving. There were some tables outside, along the pool fence, that were being served when I was there.
