I was trying to make a week long reservation at the BCV online and I tried every week from now until Sept and not one two bedroom villa was available. Are they that popular ? Or should I try calling disney reservation. ? Im not a DVC member but have thought about it for awhile and wanted to try BCV. We recently stayed at the BWV and liked the convenience of the kitchen and washer and dryer.

BCV is probably the most popular of the DVC resorts.

if you can give up housekeeping - then you might see if a DVC member can get you a reservation. Would definitely cost less.

dvc member and their guests (which you would be) don't quality for daily housekeeping.

also definitely call Disney. Member service controls DVC resorts - but pretty sure if you asked nicely - CRO could call MS and see what they can work out.

Try calling WDW reservations; they sometimes can find available rooms when a resort appears completely booked online.

But, keep in mind that only a small percentage of DVC villas are available for booking by non-members. BCV is also one of the smallest DVC resorts and is very popular, as it's so close to Epcot.

You might consider renting a reservation from a DVC member. Check out the FAQs and stickies on the DVC Rent/Trade Board, to see if renting would make sense for you.

Try the phone to CRO. CRO does have more rooms available than what is on the website.
I doubt that a DVC member can get you a reservation this summer- you are way past the 11 month window for BCV owners and almost past the 7 month window for other DVC owners (except for the end of the summer). And it is popular.
I have heard more stories of getting a reservation through CRO when DVC is booked than the other way around. But, you should save money if a DVC member can get you a reservation.

TDisney, BCV 2BR are offered to DVC members first and very few are kept by CRO...That being said I just booked last night thru AAA a 1br and my TA said there was a 2br available.Also it is Disney month till the end of Jan thru AAA and I got a killer deal!!!

IMHO, I think that is cuz most DVC owners plan far in advance and most CRO reservations come in later. So the rooms that CRO keeps seem to be available after the DVC rooms are gone.

You can certainly save a lot of money on great accommodations in a “Disney Deluxe Villa Resort” (Disney Vacation Club) by renting a reservation direct from a DVC member rather than making the reservation with WDW reservations (aka CRO).

However, please be sure and educate yourself on how a DVC reservation is very different from a regular hotel reservation, and the basics of “renting points”, as it is often referred to.

We just booked BCV this weekend for late August. At one point it didn't look to be available online but then it was. We got our ressie thru AAA
