You guys saw some rare characters at Epcot. How cool that you ran into big Mike! How does the pick a pearl work? Do you remember how much it cost. I got the girls Cinderella carriage necklaces for it.
Yay, for a DIS meet. Looks like you all had a blast with Jen and Trent.
Isn't the boat great for getting to DHS and Epcot?!?! I love the Epcot resorts. We'll be getting the kitchen sink at BC club next trip.

Actually, we were gong to meet with them on another day, but that might work out better, if everyone is agreeable to the parade on the night of the 9th. That would be a nice big meet! Let's be thinking of a good place to view the parade. We could try to get seats on the porch of Tony's.

Jeremy, ask your mom and dad when they would rather meet, and whatever they decide is fine with us. We're there from about midnight on the 30th until the afternoon of the 10th.

We took some time out today to go see TS3. We figured all the big multi-screen complexes would be packed so we chose to go to a smaller one in the Old Town section of Wichita. It also offer meals brought to your seats which Baylor has never experienced. We got there about 30 minutes before the previews started and had to wait in a short line to buy tickets. Baylor was off looking around while Wigd and I waited in line. All of a sudden, a blur of a person ran by me and literally crashed into a wooden door next to the ticket kiosk. His friends immediately rushed over to make sure he was ok. This guy was totally oblivious as to where he was and what had just happened. All of us just gazed at each other in amazement.

We entered the theater, chose where to sit, decided to move closer to the center in another row, and perused the menu. Baylor chose the 1/2 lb Angus cheeseburger and fries, Wigd had an Angus hot dog, fries, and some sort of Bananas Foster dessert, and I had an order of Cheese Fries. The food arrived right as the movie was starting so it was kind of hard to concentrate on the movie and try to eat without spilling food all over yourself.

As others have mentioned, I do not want to give too many details, but I laughed out loud numerous times and cried many tears.

I hope Baylor enjoyed this adventure as we paid a premium price to see it in 3D and as you might imagine, the price of the food in the theater was anything but reasonable.

BWV was just refurbed! They just look new, well they are! Better storage in the restroom, room decor is cute!!
BCV is getting worn. I do still love it though, it's just time for them to refurb!
We stay in a 1br, what are you planning to stay in?
It's such a short walk to enjoy the dining at both places.

thanks for the info! i think i'll be happy with either one. i just hope i can get one of the two during F&W festival. if not, i guess i'll have to settle for VWL. woe is me. we stayed in a studio at SSR a couple years ago and it was perfect for us, so we will do that again. it's just me and my husband and we'll have our new addition with us, but he'll still be sleeping in a crib anyway so we only need the one bed. and we aren't big cookers while on vacation. as long as i have a coffee pot, a microwave, a toaster and fridge, i'm A-okay. seth (our baby-to-be) will be just over 1 year old when we go back and i'm thinking being able to walk to epcot and take a boat to DHS is going to be SO convenient with a stroller.

Beach Club is joined up with Yacht Club, Boardwalk is just across the lake, it's a very short walk. If you have a chance hang around for some of the Boardwalk evening entertainment. Lots of fun!
Beaches and Cream has some good treats, the burgers aren't bad either! You can also grab a burger out by the pool at Hurricane Hannah's!

The pick a pearl was less than $20. You pay then take the receipt to the cm at the pick a pearl counter. You wait your turn, tell them the oyster that you want, you do the ceremony and they open it. They clean it and present it to you. That's it!
