We are planning on staying at Beach Club Villas next summer. We are dvc members and are excited to try a new resort just because it would be fun.

I have a couple of questions...What are the different views for the rooms you can request? Did you like staying at the Beach Club villas? We will be getting a 2 bedroom villa dedicated to fit our family. How many balcony do you get in a 2 bedroom? Did you like the pools?

Just want to know what everybody's opinion is. Thanks in advance!!

It may be hard to get a dedicated at seven months out, so be prepared to only be able to book a lockoff. You might not get a balcony off the master bedroom, just the living room and the second bedroom (for sure at a minimum those two with a lockoff).

As for pools, I prefer the Dunes Cove pool right at the villas. My husband and son loved Stormalong Bay, but I hated it. Hated the sinking sands, hated the swift current and deep areas. And SAB can get very crowded.

Beach Club Villas is my favorite resort. The architecture is such, however, that there are big balconies and there are very tiny balconies. I remember once being in a 1 BR with 2 tiny balconies, then I transferred to a studio after DH left. The balcony in my studio was larger than the 2 balconies in the 1 BR combined. My favorite view is the woods view-can usually see the top of the Eiffel Tower in France, Illuminations.

Pool or woods view are the only real choices. Make your room request when you book the room, if booked online send the request to MS via the member website.

I think there's also courtyard view. That one's great for people-watching, but no view of Illuminations.

We LOVE staying at BCV. Quick access to 2 parks, plenty of dining options (including BW, YC, etc.), and Stormalong Bay is considered by most as the best pool at WDW. The entire area is relaxing and lovely to walk around day or night. Can't beat the quick walk back after Epcot closing -- no busses!
