We prefer Beach Club, but the reason is for the fabulous pool!!! I've NEVER been to a pool I've loved so much. Not sure if you'll have kids with you or not. Also, BC is a little closer to Epcot. We request a room along the walkway to Epcot overlooking the trees. They do have quite a few rooms that overlook the road so definitely request one of the others.

Good luck!

They're pretty much the same when it comes to rooms, but BCVs are in a separate building, a short walk from the BC. BC does have a spectacular pool if you want slides, whirlpools, lazy river, etc. If you just want to swim, the BW has nice pools, with one just for the villas. We really like the Marketplace inside the BC, which offers gelati, sandwiches, and other snacks, as well as a store. I love the Breezeway at the BC, which has a/c and comfy furniture where you can relax, have a snack, read, talk, whatever. The BW has a comfortable bar with 40's music & games. They're both wonderful.

Beach Club is a slightly shorter walk, which may be a consideration at 79 - although honestly, if she is 79 and young enough to walk around Epcot, BWV isn't that much farther - and if she will be in an ECV, it won't make that much difference.

Parking lot is next to the BCV's which is really nice and saves some walking. However the view is great from the BW. I love both resorts!:lovestruc

We loved them both and for us it came down to points. A standard view room at BW is less then a room at BC. A great location for fewer points.

I love both resorts. The Epcot area is the best imo! I do prefer the BC over the BW. The beauty of staying at either one is that you can walk to the other and still enjoy the restaurants and the nightlife. Any other specific questions, ask away! :)

I think you will be happy at either one and have a wonderful trip!

All the previous posts show you that both resorts have wonderful things about them, so you really can't go wrong. Everybody has reasons for prefering one resort over the other, however, so see which ones are important to you and go from there.

One reason we prefer BC is because of the seperate building which allows for MUCH shorter hallways and MUCH closer elevators.

Have a magical day! :tinker:

I prefer BCV for two reasons that haven't been menioned yet. The BC has a counter serve place right there, which you can access without going outside into an uncovered area (nice if it's raining), and I love that there's a sandy beach right there that you can walk around barefoot and squish sand between your toes (there's also an area at the pool with sand that I love).

They are both wonderful resorts-I think you will be happy with either. Treat yourselves to dinner at the Flying Fish restaurant on the Boardwalk- no matter which one you choose!

BCV is my fav.
It's so close to BWV, you can tour the other and plan your next trip.

My mother is traveling with me for the third time in December. I gave her the choice of BCV or BWV and she chose BCV ---since it is a little closer to Epcot walking.

She is 80 now and does not use a scooter at all. Our first trip was to VWL, but she did not like the "little" boat that you have to step down into, so we stay away from that kind.

The second trip we had a Boardwalk View room and she found that she really likes the BCV/BW area.

She really enjoyed the TS restaurants, but did not care for the buffet style ones.

We stayed at BC last trip and are staying at BW for the first time this trip. We really liked our BC location - we could see (and hear) much of Illuminations, AND we could see the MK fireworks, as well. Just LOVED our balcony.
