Beach Club Villas in May 2016

Does anyone know how busy Beach Club Villas might be May 7-14, 2016? I'm wondering if I should try to rent points there or not.

Also, how extensive will BCV's construction be?

I was unaware of that rule so I changed my post. I knew there would be construction at BCV (my first choice was actually Wilderness Lodge but they are apparently having very extensive renovations), but how bad will it be? Bad enough to avoid?

All depends on where they are working and what they are doing. The current BWV rehab has been disruptive for many guests.

I would steer clear if possible unless you are willing to take your chances.

May 7, 2016 is now less than 6 months away. DVC members who own at a resort can begin reserving their own resort at 11 months out, and then at 7 months out, any member can reserve any DVC resort. Once beyond that 7 month window the near park resorts like BCV can be very difficult to get and you should assume your chances are low.
