We are flying in a day early for our cruise in Nov. I would love to stop at the Beach Club Villas to take a tour and have lunch before heading to Port Canaveral. Is it possible to take a tour? Any sitdown restaurants where they take PS? Or is our best bet to wing it and get lunch at a counter service?

The models and sales area are at the BWV. You can usually take a wlak up tour wothout a problem.

The boardwalk area has many choices for food. All the way from fine, sit down places to carts on the boardwalk.

we just got back and my husband went on the tour. They are only from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

You could go to the ESPN club for lunch.

Someone reported recently that they are closing the sales office at BW and moving it to BCV. Not sure if this is true, but I would imagine you could do a tour at BCV as VWL had tours there when they first opened. Places to eat: Beached and Creams is great for lunch if you want a good burger and great sundaes, also they have nice counter service out by the pool at Hurricane Hanna's. Cape May is the sit down buffet restaurant and of course you can walk over to all the Boardwalk or Dolphin and Swan restaurants.

I asked my guide last Monday while we were there if they were planning on moving the offices to BCV, he told me no and the finance person who was having my parents sign their paperwork told me she had not heard that either. He said at the rate they were selling it just wouldn't make sense, by the time they got moved over there, they would be sold out and it would cost too much money to do it.

Are they strict on the time? I'm going to be there next week and was hoping to take a quick tour before going to Epcot on Wednesday morning (probably around 10:00).

I too would be suprised if they moved the sales office. It would be an unnecessary expense. The models are now done out in the decor of BCV and VWL, so what you see is what is for sale at those resorts. The infrastructure is in place at BW, and if you want to feel the "ambience " of the Y+B club it's just a short walk away. I visited last week and no sign of the office closing down.

The Big River brewery and Grill is 10 yards from the sales office on BW. We ate there over the weekend. Food was pretty good and entree prices ranged from $7 for a pulled pord sandwich ( I had this and it was really tasty) up to just under $30 for a steak meal. There are another 4 or 5 places on BW that are all pretty good. I al;so liked Beaches and Cream at the Y+B club as well as Cape May Cafe.
