Beach Club Villa Refurbishment

Does anyone have any information on if the Beach Club Villa refurbishments have started yet? I am looking for the latest information. Any reports of the work starting?

Soon, it was announced at the DVC annual meeting in December that the remodeling of BCV villas would begin in January 2016. The remodel will include the hallways as well as all villas.

I'll be there for 8 days in the summer. Hopefully we get a refurbished studio.y kids really loved having separate beds at our weekend at VWL

Don't know if they have started, but we did a letter saying there would be refurb work going on during our stay at BCV from March 18-27 from 9am-5pm - and the inconvenience should be at a minimum .

of course they are starting a refurb! we were moved from WLV due to construction and now got another letter stating construction at BCV. This is not really funny to us. I know they needed to be redone at BCV, but to move us there from one mess to possibly have noise at another place stinks. oping for the best and that the Villa pool is NOT TO BE touched at all. We need that pool for our resort days! Please who ever stays there soon and sees work being done, report back!

I didnt choose bcv the DVC rep spoke with the owner and agreed the impact of construction was going to be a huge factor for us, so they offered BCV or stay put at WLV, so we took it. Never imagined all dvc resorts having projects so close together.

It is a little crazy. It's nice they've decided to update more frequently but I think they should have spaced the catch up refurbs a little further apart. VB is also getting done at the same time as AKV and BCV and afaik BWV isn't completed yet. And of course the VWLII build is huge. Oh - and Poly area work isn't done either.

At BCV it's a room refurb so the pool should not be affected unless they have some sort of annual maintenance to perform.

We were in a 1BR at BCV in Dec and the room was in fine condition. The style of a few things of course is a bit dated but the condition itself was fine.

we are booked in a studio for april 15-22nd. Hope its ok!
