We will be staying in a smoking, 2BR Villa at the Beach Club with 2 young children(18months and 4 yrs). Never stayed at the BC before and not sure which location is best? Thinking close to SAB so access to Epcot, boats, etc... would be easier? Please advise!
Thank you!

Not sure about the location, but you will definitly be on the fourth floor. All smoking permitted villas at Beach Club Villas are on the fourth floor.

Well, if you want access to SAB and the boats then stay at that end. Do you think you'll be at the pool a lot?

If you think you'll be going in and out of Epcot a lot, then I'd go closer to Epcot, so you could walk back to your unit rather than having to wait for the boat.

I think you have to kind of decide which is going to be more your vacation style.

I don't think "being close to Epcot" matters much in terms of walking, because the building kind of curves around toward front (it is sort of a crescent) and the "Epcot end" is way up front by the parking lot. You sort of have to walk toward the lobby to get anywhere, although the highest-numbered rooms (70's) are close to parking and handicapped spots.

For convenience ask for the LOWER numbers, close to elevators. This puts you at the end of the Villas building that is adjacent to the main BC Resort building. Through there is the way back toward the pools, boats, shops, restaurants, everything.

I was in #412 and it was great -- but it was a studio non-smoking. The 20's and 30's are also fairly close to elevators/lobby. Even numbers face the quiet pool/front and odd numbers face Epcot/back.

Hope this helps.

None of the BCV rooms are more than about 50 yards from an elevator. There are 2 elevators that service the 4th floor. One elevator is within 10 yards of the main entrance and the other is about 10 yards from the quiet pool.

You will use the main entrance to access SAB, boats, buses, dining and access to Epcot and MGM. (You can also use the fire exit staircases, but they are no closer.)

All smoking optional rooms are on the 4th floor. I wouldn't worry too much about which room you have, as all have easy access to the elevator.

Enjoy!
