I don't think "being close to Epcot" matters much in terms of walking, because the building kind of curves around toward front (it is sort of a crescent) and the "Epcot end" is way up front by the parking lot. You sort of have to walk toward the lobby to get anywhere, although the highest-numbered rooms (70's) are close to parking and handicapped spots.
For convenience ask for the LOWER numbers, close to elevators. This puts you at the end of the Villas building that is adjacent to the main BC Resort building. Through there is the way back toward the pools, boats, shops, restaurants, everything.
I was in #412 and it was great -- but it was a studio non-smoking. The 20's and 30's are also fairly close to elevators/lobby. Even numbers face the quiet pool/front and odd numbers face Epcot/back.
Hope this helps.
