Hi there, we are going to Magic Kingdom Saturday morning and staying at Beach Club. We want to go as early as possible to get on some things before the crowds and only stay a few hours with our 2 year old. We are trying to determine if it will be easier to ride the bus or drive. Does anyone know what time the buses start going to Magic Kingdom? Would that get us in earlier then driving over? And are the morning buses typically super full? Thanks so much!

The "here now" thread has a lot of discussion of this. In general, the first buses leave the resort 60-75 mins before park open, and cars are let into the lot 45-60 minutes before--however, buses are dropped off right at the gates whereas people driving arrive at the TTC and need to take a ferry or monorail to MK. So generally, bus is better, assuming you get there early (e.g. 90 mins before open) to be sure you will get on the first bus. The first bus pretty much always fills up.

We drive to a lot of the parks, but always take the bus to MK for this very reason.
I suspect with social distancing, the time to get from TTC to MK has increased as well.

You could actually walk to MK from TTC, with the walkway from GF to MK being open. Don't know if Disney closes it, and how long it would take, but you could try it.

It is a loooong walk—about 2 miles so likely 35-40 minute walk. Faster to take monorail or ferry.
