Beach Club-Special Treats from Room Service

Hi!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in two weeks at the Beach Club. Has anyone been there recently and know what special treats can be ordered from room service? On the allears site, under the menus, there is a list of room service "amenties" from the beach club. They sound really cool. The list is copied below. It's from 12/03 so I didn't know if these things were still available. I know it would be easier to just wait until we got there and place the order, but I might have a hard time doing it on the sly so it would be better if I could call in advance.

Chocolate Treasure Chest-Our special first mate amenity-a chocolate chest filled with chocolate seashells, tea cookies, and a cinnamon-sugar sand beach $29.99

Mariner's Birthday Feast-What sea celebration would be complete without balloons and horns? Our pastry chef will whip up a chocolate birthday cake and we'll provide the horns and balloons. Party on! $29.99

The Driftwood-The tides just washed up a sweet and delicious pairing. An assortment of fresh-baked cookies is accompanied by two ice cold glasses of milk. This is a dream you'll be able to remember with a souvenir ceramic tile. $19.99

Champagne Toast-Bottle of house sparkling wine with chocolate dipped strawberries $49.99

Chocolate Truffle Box-Our pastry chef has designed a special chocolate box to hold six hand rolled gourmet truffles. A screened beach scene of the hotel on Asian Rice Paper decorates the top of the box $29.99

The Main Mouse-A Disney classic, poured out in solid white chocolate in a six-inch replica of the world's favorite mouse. Mickey is the main event surrounded by chocolate strawberries. $45.99

They have most, if not all, or at least something similar. Check the list in the leather book in your room or ontact private dining. Enjoy your anniversary

We had the chocolate picture frame and the main mouse strawberries, the picture frame was too pretty to eat! so we just had it kicking around for a few years at home, not sure where it is now though. I don't have a pic of it, but here is a pic of the main mouse.

Had them all except the champayne and I think the menu is still the same. The chocolate covered strawberries we got this summer were not the tuxedo ones of the past, they were more like dominos. Still very good, but not as cute.

You need to place your order at least 24 hours in advance, especially if you want the strawberries.

We had the chocolate picture frame and the main mouse strawberries, the picture frame was too pretty to eat! so we just had it kicking around for a few years at home, not sure where it is now though. I don't have a pic of it, but here is a pic of the main mouse.

Too cute! I so have to order one of those next time we go!
