Beach Club rooms

Many times I feel like CM's can make all the difference. That's good to hear you loved club at Beach Club!
.

I was impressed by the staff throughout the entire resort. From the greeting we received at our arrival, to the Admiral who was patrolling both the YC/BC, to the janitorial staff, we were treated like we were longtime friends.

King room is a bookable category at the Moderates. Definitely cheaper.
I've stayed at moderates a lot, but I think I'd only really want to stay there if my main focus is the parks all day. When I would go in college we would only be in the room to sleep. Lately I've been more resort oriented so I've been doing more deluxes. I wish the deluxe would have a cheaper option for King. I wonder why moderate is the only one with king as a bookable category (not counting the crazy expensive club kings at deluxe). But it is good to know I can find a more affordable king option for the future.

King is bookable in main building at GF.

I'd love to stay there but its too far out of my price range. I wish they had king rooms that were bookable that weren't in club level at Deluxe

Yeah I understand. Every trip I've taken alone with my husband (even our honeymoon), we've been given two queens.

Oh I would not be a happy camper if they gave me two queens on my honeymoon (which hasn't happened yet lol)

I was once given a surprise upgrade to a king room at the BC...biggest on site room I've ever had, and it was just DH and I there for the weekend. I think it was 4th floor, and all the way down the end of the hallway, we laughed it was closer to YC than BC! It was a corner room, and had a balcony on each outside wall. I'm guessing it was 4th floor, because we didn't have to use the card for elevator access, and at that tIme I had no clue about the CL.

Enter surprise upgrade number 2...it was my birthday, we were there with the kids for a MVMCP weekend, arrived at BC were escorted up to the 5th floor to check in, the kids were encouraged (they're teen and tweens, old enough to be alone for a it) to enjoy the lounge offerings while DH and I did the check in. We were given glasses of champagne! I was in shock, this kind of stuff never happens to me. Needless to say, we enjoyed being spoiled all weekend. Normally we are a pop tarts in the room for breakfast kind of family, this time we brought the home unopened lol! We've been back to BC several times since that visit, and if the price was right, we chose CL. For us the resort is part of our trip, we aren't park commandos, and really enjoy the down time. The CL extra cost vs the price of feeding a family of 5 breakfast and snacks is a toss up most times. And a better deal if you can take advantage of happy hour!
