Beach Club room preferences?

I'm another vote for Ale & Compass for breakfast and the marketplace at the YC is also very good. We always stay at BW and we will take the boat over to YC one or two mornings to have breakfast at Ale & Compass, we have done the same for YC marketplace which has a very nice selection and nice place to sit and eat. We may try Picabu's on our next trip since it seems to have good reviews. Thanks for the information.

Once I stayed at BC (actual resort) with my sisters, we requested a water view meaning the lake. When we got to our room all we could see was the quite pool outside our room, the lake was completely blocked. After that I realized there really aren't any rooms at BC resort that have balconies and a lake view. It seems that the rooms that can see the lake only have windows and no balconies...Needless to say we were very disappointed, live and learn...

We often stay at BCV and like Ale & Compass as well. We've only had Picabu's for dinner (good) but since you're OK with walking over to the Swolphin we have gone to Garden Grove in the Swan for breakfast and really like it. As an added benefit, they open @ 6:30AM if you're an early riser like us.

I prefer quiet pool view also on a higher level.

Is there an area I can request that I would see the area where people walk to Epcot and the lake or is that the YC area? Thanks.

there is no view of the lake from BCV at all. Best views at BCV are of the quiet pool. Views that are on the road side can sometimes be noisey/here traffic another good choice is closest to main building

I used to think they should offer standard and preferred view at BCV, but then I reallized there are no preferred views there.
