Beach Club Resort Villas

Hi all!

We just booked a 2 bedroom villa at the new Beach Club, but still have questions. We usually stay at the WL, but wanted to try a new resort. In your opinion, is the BC as nice as WL? Pook, ammenities, location, service?

All is a matter of personal preference, of course, but I prefer the BCV/BC to the WLV/WL. I like the pool better, and can't beat the location. EPCOT is my favorite park by the way!

It's an easy walk to EPCOT and a nice walk to MGM Studios. Also, taking the boats to those parks is a nice option. The buses for the other parks are shared among the neighboring resorts, but I've never had a problem with this.

I really enjoy the CM staff at the BC. They seem to go out of their way to satisfy a guest's request.

The BCVs are lovely and the common areas are just terrific! There is a little area of the resort store that features some drinks and food items, but you'll certainly find a better selection at the off-site Publix!

Storm Along Bay is the pool and it's terrific. I even enjoy the quiet pools!

And don't forget that Beaches and Cream is right next to the main pool! It's a great place for a super cheeseburger and they make the best chocolate malts on the property!

WL has about the best theming on site. It is also closer to MK. As far as advantages go that's it. The Epcot resorts win hands down on all other accounts. You can walk to Epcot and MGM and among the Epcot resorts (BW, YC/BC and Swan/Dolphin). Thus, you have a huge number of restaurants within walking distance along with parks and nightlife of BW. Those BC villas are brand new and the 2BR will provide about 1100 sg ft of living space and includes a kitchen and a w/d. The main BC pool, Stormalong Bay, is huge and like a mini-waterpark. Many consider it the best pool on site. My personal preference is the Boardwalk resort but overall I would stay at an Epcot resort over anywhere else including the MK monorail resorts.

I think you will really enjoy the location and the amenities of the Beach Club. If you have been staying in a regular room at the WL and are now bumping up to the 2-bedroom at BCV, prepared to be bowled over!
