Beach Club Pool

My son and his family will be using the DVC to stay at the BCV. I am on a waiting list for a studio but haven't gotten any good news as yet. I am confirmed for a room at the BWI to be on the safe side. My concern is whether they will let me join my family at the BC pool. Do they take pity on parties that have been broken up or is a steadfast rule?

Your family at the BCV will be able to pool hop to yours at the Boardwalk, but not vice versa I am afraid. BWV has great pools, however! Enjoy!

how many adults are the family visiting BC?

if less than 4 - just get a room ID from them. Although it has been reported on this site that lately the lifeguards have not been checking for the ID.

I was at the BCV the first week of August and they were checking both ID's and checking for bracelets of anyone in the pool.

We were there for some of our stay and only one of the times we used the pool they asked for room keys. After showing them our room key we got our towels and a bracelet to wear for the time we were in the pool that day. We used the pool only in the mornings so maybe they don't ask as much in the mornings, I'm not sure.
