Beach Club or Poly, which would you choose?

We have a standard room at the Poly booked, but can save $$$ if we switch to the Beach Club. We have stayed at the Poly and LOVE it, but saving $$$ is always a plus. We love the theme, rooms size, access to to the monorail, (that's a ride in itself) Dole whips, and pool. For those of you have stayed at both, which do you like better? Thanks

Epcot is my favourite park, but the Poly is my favourite resort.

The Beach Club is okay. I loved being able to walk back and forth to Epcot daily. That was the best part for me.
But to me, the Poly is just magical. I could be happy hanging out there all day and never going to the parks.

We did a split stay last year between these two and we prefer the BC. We do enjoy the larger rooms at the Poly and having the monorail right there but we still prefer BC. We like the pool better, enjoy being able to walk to Epcot, walking around the Boardwalk, the lobby smell, lighter color theming and ,while it is a longer walk,walking to HS ( we enjoy early morning runs on this path also). Last summer was our first stay at the Poly and while there we tried moving over to BC earlier we missed it so much.

The Poly is my favorite resort so that would be my choice without hesitation. The BC is a nice resort and it is convenient to be within walking distance to 2 parks, but we prefer the atmosphere of the Poly as well as the variety of dining options around the monorail. We also like the Poly pool more as we weren't wow'd by SAB. Good luck .

Well, we love both of them! What we do is choose the resort based on what we plan to do the most each trip. Like with TSL open now in HS, we are open again to that park, so BC was a great pick last trip because we could walk there, and we also planned meals in Epcot world showcase which of course is also walkable from BC. So it was a no-brainer for us. We still go to MK a few times, but just not lots of times like we do when we stay at Poly. We love the atmosphere, pool, boardwalk too. We always plan a walk to mini-golf and we love to rent a surrey bike too.

However, when we stay at Poly, we love the focus on MK, the views, everything about Poly. I understand your love for that resort! But we don't feel sad when we stay at BC. We just plan a different type of trip. Can you do a split stay, start at BC to see how it feels and then move to Poly which you know you love?

We did a Poly/BC split stay. I prefer the BC and the vibe of the Epcot resorts more than the MK resorts. MK is my favorite park. Epcot is my least favorite park but I still enjoy the park.

To save money I would definitely move to the BC in an instant!

We've stayed at the Poly a few times and absolutely love it. I'm thinking we should finally stay at BC on our next trip since so many rave about Stormalomg Bay. My kids said no, they want to go back to the Poly or another resort on the monorail.

Had my worst experience ever at a Disney Hotel at Poly, switched from Poly to Beach Club and loved it.

I'd pick Beach Club just because you've already stayed at Poly. I enjoy trying a different resort each time we go. Ironically enough, we've gone 7x, and the only resort we've done twice was Poly.
