We have been to Disney at least once a year since the kids were born and I LOVE every moment! We have been lucky enough to go on off-peak times and enjoyed going to the parks with very short lines. We just took a trip this past September. We are planning on a cruise and going to Universal for Spring Break, but couldn't resist booking the Beach Club for 2 nights before our cruise. I really want to avoid the parks because of Spring Break crowds and since we were lucky enough the get 2 days at the Beach Club...
Beach Club Lovers - tell me all the things you LOVE to do at the Beach Club (aside from the obvious : Stormalong Bay).

We love Beach Club and Storm Along Bay too, and we get depressed if we can't get a reservation there.

1) We love going to the Marketplace, using our refillable mugs, it is so close to get to, and you always go past it anyway on the return from EPCOT or Hollywood Studios.

2) We love Beaches N Creme, whether just getting ice cream to go, or getting a burger inside.

3) We love being able to walk over to the Bridge outside the International Gate of EPCOT and watching ILLUMINATIONS on the night we arrive, or a non park day.

4) We enjoy walking around the Boardwalk, visiting the Boardwalk Bakery and getting another refill of coffee and buying some wonderful treat there.

5) We enjoy the lobby area of the Beach Club, and going to Cape May Cafe for either breakfast or dinner.

6) It is great to have the boat transportation to the two adjacent Parks, and even to visit the nearby Swan and Dolphin, Boardwalk Restaurants.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I am so looking forward to enjoying the Beach Club! We enjoy the parks so much, I feel we never have enough time to enjoy the great DVC properties. This trip is a little bonus trip for us, so we can relax and enjoy!
Does anyone know where the laundry facilities are? Are they coin operated?
Any other suggestions welcome!

I also really like the dueling piano bar at Boardwalk. We bought at Beach Club on a resale and are very happy with it. Our two boys are old enough to where they can go on the rides at Epcot and so that makes it easy to just walk in there.

The BC pools are definitely the best in all of Disney. My favorite part of the trip is just sitting watching the boys having a good time on the slide (or sometimes joining in) and just talking to my wife by the pools. Also in the mornings I like to swim in the lazy river, against the current, its quite the workout!

There are lots of great suggestions! We also enjoy eating at the ESPN restaurant and playing the video games.
Just walking around the boardwalk and people watching is a lot of fun.
I think you will have a great time, it will be more relaxing and you won't be worried about what time to get to the parks and what to ride first. You will just be hanging out at the pool, strolling the boardwalk and doing what I like to do best on vacation...EAT! :lmao:
