I have looked at a lot of maps of the Beach Club trying to figure out where my room will most likely be located. I choose a Garden view and most maps only show water or standard. Does anyone know where Garden view rooms are? Front of Hotel? Back of Hotel? Facing the Villas? Will it be a garden or just grass or trees? I made only one request when making my reservations I asked not to be on the ground floor and to be as high up as possible.

Most likely they'd be on the lake side of the hotel facing the courtyards, and also the far wings toward Epcot facing the woods.

Hi. On the first page of the Beach & Yacht Club FAQ thread there are aerial shots that give a good view of the resort layout. Maybe change your request to "High floor" and then add "near lobby" if that's what you prefer or "near Epcot entrance" if that's more like it. Beach Club is the only Disney resort where we seem to have bad resort request juju. Never get what we request but end up enjoying it anyway. In a few weeks we shall see again...

If you are looking at the Disneyzone maps, these were made before there was a garden view designation. In 2011, all of the rooms were reclassified to water, garden or standard.

A garden view is a view of something green- garden, woods, courtyard, lawn.

These rooms are located throughout the resort, so as a previous poster suggested, request what it is you want in words-

"High floor please"

Here are a few samples of views in Beach Club rooms supplied by past guests:

I stayed at BC GV last October and was facing Epcot/ trees. Great if you want a Surround- Sound Sensory experience of the High Fireworks from Illuminations. We loved it!

We had a garden view in April. Uugghh! It was ugly! We were on the 4th floor and only saw this big old ugly half dead tree top. It was noisy. We heard the ME luggage truck coming and going.

I hope the standard cl room I have booked in September is quiet, as I would hate to listen to their little trucks.

Our GV was of the leafy green area between BC and Epcot. Not much to look at, but we could see the high fireworks of Illuminations and even hear either the band from Canada or England. A very short walk to Epcot. And very quiet.

I really only want to be on a high floor. I don't want to look at a parking lot or roof top. I don't spend that much time in the room but when I do I do not really want to watch trucks come in or out. I have never stayed here or really even walked by. We usually stay at The WL and always get woods view. We always see bunnies in the grass. I wanted to try something new but I am getting seriously nervous.

We had a garden view in August...4th floor, full balcony looking out on the courtyard/pool/lake....it was fabulous!

Last year we faced Epcot with garden view and could watch illuminations (parts of it anyways)

This year our room faced the area just to the right of the volleyball court (room 2567). We had partial view of the boardwalk, lagoon, etc- so it may have been an upgrade.

We had a standard view that overlooked a large flat roof and it was the quietest room we have ever had at the BC. Many of the standard view rooms on the parking lot side overlook a large roof, thereby putting the traffic at some distance from the rooms. The bus stop and parking lot are set back, so you don't even hear that traffic. There are some rooms that overlook the main driveway that would could hear noise from the Magical Express, but there aren't too many SV rooms there. I think the worst thing you'll get from a SV room is a view of roofs and buildings. :)

We have a standard club level room now. Looking straight out we see trees and some water. Looking to the left we see rooftop. Looking to the right we see the front entrance portico and the Epcot ball. At night if we look really hard right we can see the fireworks. The room is quiet. I wouldn't mind a bit to have this room again.

I hope I am lucky enough to get a room like this in August. We booked Garden and have our fingers crossed for a nice view and a great time at BC.

We stayed BC GV twice last year and we were located in the back with a courtyard view but if we looked right we could see the lake, loved loved it! We are odd we like the bottom floor so we enjoyed the ducks coming every morning and evening.
