Beach club experts ?

Hi,
Just wondering if there were such a thing as preferred rooms at the Beach Club, if you stayed in their standard rooms ?? or are all the rooms similar.

Is there a request I could make.... a colleage of mine has finally decided
on statying at the the Beach Club and asked.. but I have no idea !

don't know if I can ask here.. but what is the best rate anyone has
seen for this resort , I believe he is going during value season.

All of the rooms are similar, but they are priced by their view. There is standard view, which looks at woods, gardens, or the parking lot, and then there are water view rooms that look out at pools and the lake. There are also concierge rooms which have either a standard view or a water view.

I usually book standard view when staying at BC, and I've never had a really bad view. I've looked out at the woods between Epcot and BC (and seen some of the fireworks as a bonus), and I've looked out at the gardens between BC and BCV.

The main thing at BC is whether or not you want a full balcony. Some rooms (regardless of view and price) have a standing room for one person balcony, and some have a full balcony with two chairs and a table. If a balcony is important, they should make that their first, and maybe only, room request.

I have also had many ppl complain about the distance to the lobby, I have never really had a problem, but b/c of that I always request a room close the elevator BUT what I like even better is a 2nd floor room, because there is a staircase right off the lobby that will allow you to bypass the elevator all together.
