Beach Club/Club Level

Years ago we stayed in a club level room at the Beach Club and the room had a day bed. The room was also rates for 5 people. Now I see that the rooms are set up for 4 people instead of 5. Did they change this after the last rehab of the rooms? I'd like to stay club level but we have 5 people.

They limited all regular CL rooms to max of 4 Guests in 2023 well before the last refurbishment.

There were a mix of rooms that had physical space for a day bed, and many that did not have room due to the layout of the resort. There are also many rooms on floors 1-4 that also don't have capacity for a 5th guest.

They did it due to capacity issues at the clubs as they are on the small side, 4 person max even for rooms that have capacity for 5. YC is the same.

They changed the occupancy maximum for BC CL a while ago. There are a limited number of rooms with daybeds because of the quantity of rooms with the dormer balconies. Those rooms are slightly smaller than the rooms that don't have the dormer. The rehab wasn't a factor.

From the Club Level info on page 1 of the Y & B thread

“Recent Changes (late 2018/2019):

Regular Club Level rooms are now available only for parties for parties of 4 or fewer guests. Families of 5 or more are no longer able to book this category at the Yacht & Beach Club.

Deluxe Rooms, which do accommodate more than 4 guests no longer include club level access and amenities.”
