I have been watching this for a while now, all available. Tommorrow is my 7 month day. Today one day in the middle of the week I was watching is gone. Could that be someone walking a reservation? If so will it be unavailable 1 day at a time? I know we can only speculate on the answer

There is no real way to tell whether walking has anything to do with the day missing. It could just as easily have been those booking a week for a Sat to Sat rather than Sunday to Sunday trip, or some owner booking a trip that begins on or just before the day you saw disappear. What you are seeing is simply that one day is full and it is likely because on that day check-ins outnumber check-outs and on other days that is not yet the case. In other words, you cannot assume that walking rather than other normal booking practices resulted in the filling of the one day. What you can possibly assume is that one or more other days in that week are also fairly close to being full.

I just booked a 2 bedroom and a studio at bcv for Memorial Day week. I watched availability for a while before my 7 month window opened. We own at bcv, but rented those points out, so needed to book at the 7 month window.

It appeared that some walking was going on. The villas were booking right at 8:00 am on the 7 month mark. I did notice that the prior days were popping back open after a couple of days. You may get lucky, just make sure to waitlist the whole stay just in case.

There are always owners of BCV or any DVC that will try to switch to another resort at 7 months. So don't give up, get on a waitlist. Often the wait list will come through in a week or so as the owners juggle for another resort. Good luck.

Did you get it ok? I've just completed a 2 bed booking myself at the same time. I've been watching it for a few weeks and the days do seem to move. As others have said, I think you've got a good chance of waitlisting as BCV Owners move their own reservations. Good luck!
