We are going a 3 day Wonder and were wondering if you can eat dinner in the beach blanket instead of the dining rooms? My Dad doesnt like the formal dining room thing so I was looking at all our options. Please Help
Thanks

The buffet option is only offered on the 7 day cruise.

Your alternatives to main dining on the 3 or 4 day is limited to the counter service food on deck 9 (pizza/hamburgers/chicken fingers) or room service.

Keep in mind though that the dinners on the 3 and 4 day are MUCH less formal then a 7 day cruise. Triton's would be your most formal, and it's suggested to wear a jacket.. but you could show up in a polo and khaki's and be totally fine.

I wouldn't miss the main dining.. it is wonderful. Bottom line, wear what you will feel comfortable in, you really don't have to worry about getting very dressed up. Khakis and polos will be fine.

I don't think that option is available on the Wonder, only the Magic on 7 day. But I would not worry about formal dinning on the Wonder. Dockers and shirt for AP and PC, just add a tie or jacket without a tie for Tritons and you are set. There is no formal night. PC and AP have a very informal feel and Tritons is nice but not stuffy.

Thanks for the info.....

On our last Disney 3 day wonder cruise we had people in shorts and flip flops at Tritons.

I'm NOT one to play dress up (I stick with dress shirt and tie on formal nights) but shorts and flip flops shouldn't be allowed in the dinning rooms (esp. Tritons)

I have seen people carry out meals from the dining rooms on plates with covers (i.e. to take back to someone who is sleeping, babysitting or not feeling well). I don't htink they encourage it, but I have seen it done. Another option.

Hi Tammy
We Did 4 night Wonder in October and was not looking forward to the sit down formality. After being there would not hesitate to go back and do it again. I am usually one for shorts and Tshirt in a buffet, in fact apart from weddings never wore a tie before.
Polo shirts were worn in all 3 dinning rooms.
Went with the expectations of using room service but never used it once.
Have a great cruise.
