I called today to make our Cape May PS for 11/26. When the CM mentioned how busy it was this THanksgiving I told her I was really glad I already had Chef Mickeys for T-day dinner. She seemed to be somewhat taken aback and asked if I was sure about that. Yes, I said. I made the PS back in late August. She asked if I happened to have the PS number handy. When I gave it to her, it seems they had my name and my phone number incorrectly in the system!!!! I wonder what would have happened if I showed up at the podium with no number. All is taken care of now tho. Got Cape May and changed PS for Boma to Sat. night. She reread all the PSs that she had for me and they were the same as I had. So, be sure to take a copy of those PS numbers with you when you go to eat. Better safe than sorry.

Words to live by!

I'm buying a PDA Palm thingy to hold all my PS, airline, hotel, town car service, etc. info so I'll have everything I need without needing a 3 ring binder! ;) I'll still have a print out as back up, though.

Glad you got it straightend out, I'd think that T-Day PS's are like hen's teeth by now.

I had the same problem with my name being incorrect in the computer system, just last month. It was the day after my wedding and my DH and I were on the way to his brother's house so he could take us to the airport, when I realized I left my detailed itinerary from Dreams Unlimted, at my mother's house. Luckily, I was able to get on the computer at his brohter's house to at least write down our PS numbers. My new husband thought that was silly of me, since I could always give them my name. Well it turned out on 2 of the PS, my name was wrong, and they could only pull it up under the PS number.

By the way, after about 72 hours of non-stop craziness before the wedding, all I forgot was the ininerary, so I think I did pretty good.

We had that happen a couple of years ago at Crystal Palace- wrong name in the system. We had our ps number with us thank goodness, but it took a while to straighten it out. But, always, always carry them with you!

when we checked in to our hotel, guest services confirmed all our ps' and printed out little slips of paper w/date, time, restaurant, ps number, etc... i slipped them in my bag and had them ready whenever we went to check in...

::yes::

I do the same thing, every trip.

Thanks for this post! I have a confession to make...when the CM says the PS number to me after I make a PS, I just say, "Uh huh...yeah...ok." I do not even write it down! YIKES! I am gonna call right now and get all that info and put it in my wallet!

When we went in 2003, we had lots of PS's....I guess around 9 in total....on a business card size of paper I printed out all the dates/times/conf. numbers/location and laminated it. I gave one to my husband to put in his wallet and I carried one...we didn't need it except for one...we had planned a night out alone while the kids were in Neverland (literally) to Le Cellier...we got there 5 minutes before our time and they said we were not on their sheet. I showed them our confirmation number...they double checked and sure enough we had been left off...they were treating us like we were trying to pull the wool over their eyes...once they knew we were genuine...they were very apologetic....but so happy our night out alone was not tainted...

I always put my PS numbers in my palm pilot and bring it with me to Disney. Last year, we had 24 people in our group so I didn't want to get those PS reservations messed up!

I'm glad I printed all of mine out this time. I figured with the character meals I better have them with me. It's funny, when we were there in 2000, never once did I need them.

I've got ours written down in my Passporter, on a loose page in the Passporter, and on a 3"x5" card in my wallet. Wouldn't want to have them 'lose' us, now.;)
