going to WDW!!!!!
I am taking my 3 year old grandson to meet my father who lives in Florida. Because my mother had been so ill with a compromised immune system we were never able to get her great-grandson to see her. Recently she passed away and my 76 year old father is fighting depression. So he wanted to see his great-grandson. But he is not sure he is up to a long visit with an active three year old. Solution: take a break in the middle of the visit and go to WDW!!!!
My family is planning a BIG trip in March, but my grandson has never been to MK before. So I thought this a perfect opportunity for him to meet Mickey and friends. Then he can be better prepared for March, 2006. Also this will be a special day with Grandson and Grammy
We are going on Sunday June 12. I was able to get a one night ressie at SoG. I am thinking because of his age I will get a one day- one park pass. MK is open to 11. However, it is rated an 8 in the unofficial touring guide plan site. So do you think a park hopper would be better so we can jump to another park if the MK gets to crowded? Even though it is supposed to be crowded I was able to get a room and a lunch ressie at Chrystal Palace at 11:30 and a dinner ressie at Liberty Tree Tavern at 6 pm with no problem. In fact they both had all kind of openings. That makes me wonder how crowded WDW will really be? Any ideas?
I am planning to do two sit downs, one with Winnie (DGS sings "Deep in the Hundred Acre Woods" perfectly!" and one with Mickey. My main objective is to introduce him to the characters, do a few rides and watch parades and fireworks. I will be taking a break mid-day at the hotel if our room is ready. I am planning to let my grandson set the pace..
This was all decided just yesterday!!! I only have 15 days to take my grandson for his first visit to the MOUSE!!!
This is wiith his Mom's consent, a wonderful daughter to let me have the opportunity for his first visit. I can not believe how generous she is. I did offer this trip to her to take DGS to see my Dad but she couldn't get off of work and suggested I TAKE HIM!!!!!! We are going to have so much fun!!!
As my darling boy would say, "We are going to have lots of good fun, right Grammy?" "Right boy!"
