Think of making done reservations for lunch. Is the food good at lunch?

its quick service at lunch so you cannot make an ADR but if you get an email invite you can make a FP reservation up to 27 days in advance.

i've gone for lunch 4 times since it opened and i've had the turkey sandwich and the roast beef sandwich.
i found them to both be very good but the roast beef is now my go to.
and the strawberry cream cheese cupcake is my dessert of choice.

the 4 times that i have gone i have lined up at 10am to wait for the 10:30am opening although i've heard that doing that has been discouraged lately and they have been handing out paper FP with a time to come back and once they are gone they are gone.

.

You actually don't have to receive an email. There is a post explaining how to do it with a link to get a fp. :)

It was my family's least favorite lunch at the parks. We had the tuna Nicoise salad and vegetable quiche (5 tuna, 2 quiche between the 7 adults) and mahi mahi for my girls. The quiche was okay and the salad greens plentiful, but the dressing was overly vinegary and almost inedible. Those who ordered the tuna would not finish it, among them 3 HUNGRY teen-aged boys (all who love fish). The desserts were nice, but not as impressive as I'd thought they'd be for all the hype (and only a cookie for the kids) :confused3

The rooms are great, visually, so that's a plus, but it did not live up to our expectations.

Maybe the meat-based meals are more successful?

will it not even allow you to enter your resort reservation ID until its 27 days out then?

cuz i just went to the link and logged in and then went to put my reservation number in and i can type as many numbers as i want but when it gets to the letter part of my reservation number it will not allow it.

this is a bogus reservation number but say it was 1DDF1111 i could type in 1 but then not the letters

You can't use the reservation number with letters. You have to find your reservation number that is all numbers. There are instructions in the first post telling you how to find it. I found my by doing online check-in.

I tried logging in before the 27 days and I was able to log in using the reservation # starting with 44.

I thought I was good to go until I got a message for my day stating there were no FPs available for that day. I will keep trying - I am hopeful that I got the error message because it was before the 27 days. Fingers crossed.

yes! I had the turkey sandwich & it was excellent. My friend had potroast & it was also great.

just got back and we had a really good lunch there. the potato leek soup was wonderful. i could go for some right now. we also had the roast beef sandwiches and they were good as well. i had the master's cupcake for desert, delicious. my son had the cream puff i think with mousse inside, also great. i would go back again : )

When I was there I had the French Onion soup which was kind of bland, but I liked everything else. I had the tuna nicoise salad which was great. My husband had the turkey sandwich and really liked it. We had a chocolate cupcake and strawberry cupcake which were both quite good, although the plastic wrapper was really hard to get off. I really liked the atmosphere and the décor was great.

braised pork! it was the best meal of the trip and much more like a TS meal than a QS one
