I know the reservations are supposed to be available to reserve sometime this month, August, does anyone have an idea of which day this will be and when during the "holiday season" the restaurant will open?

I don't know if they mean starting Thanksgiving or sometime in December

Any other info out there that has some specific dates?

TIA :)

The latest I heard was that late November might be open to annual passholders and December may be the target date for everyone else. Stinks, because I'll just miss it if that's true.

I should point out that I have no inside information by any means....I'm just going off what I've read while searching for info myself.

Looks like August 28th is the latest buzz.

And the passholder previews of the area will be scheduled in November (we don't know when in November though) so it can probably be assumed that the restaurant won't open before November. If the passholder previews are in late November, it looks more likely for a December public opening date.

Argumentatively the opening date is in January, when my ADRs open up this Sunday, will it be available to book? Or because its still not ready, they're not taking reservations yet?

You will not be able to book ADRs for Be Our Guest this Sunday.

We don't know the exact date yet, but Disney has said "late August." So you would likely have to wait to make that reservation until they actually open up the reservations. There has been some reference to August 28 for reservations but nothing is confirmed yet.

Thank you, good to know!! I thought I had my ADR list under control, then I keep seeing posts for places I forgot about. :rolleyes1

I am guessing lunch @ BOG will be 1 CS and dinner 1 TS (for the DDP)? I'd love to try this restaurant for our trip in Feb; but imagine lunch times will be very busy, so maybe I'll need to try to get an ADR for dinner.

I've booked dining for years but I've never booked online right at the 180 day mark. What time exactly can we start booking once availability opens up? 12:01 am? or 7:00 am?

The Disney Blog has said as much.

I'm excited! We will be arriving on Dec. 10th so I hope to be able to snag a ressie! I will be checking every day for them to open. Thanks for the info!

BOG will be opening Dec 6th according to this article.

Attractions included in this opening are Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid, Be Our Guest Restaurant, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Ariel’s Grotto, Gaston’s Tavern and Bonjour! Yes, the opening has been announced by Disney as December 6, previews (for annual passholders certainly, not sure about others) starting November 19. They have NOT announced a date for making ADRs yet.

When I called yesterday to change a reservation I asked if they were taking ADR's for BOG seems it was announced of the Dec 6th opening and she told me to call next week.:thumbsup2

Not sure if it is etched in stone but will try any way:yay:
