How many of you who have had dinner at Be Our Guest ordered the special drink in the souvenir glass?

It does seem pricey, so I'm wondering if it's plastic or actual glass. I kind of want one, and was thinking about holding it in the picture with the beast :goodvibes - but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

So, did you get one?

I didn't get it at BOG...I bought it at Bonjour Gifts. It's plastic and it lights up. I liked it, but it is very pricey.

It's plastic, as the others said. The cup part unscrews from the base, makes cleaning it easier.

It's plastic. Guests are not permitted to walk around the park with glass, and I think they wanted it available for walking around the park with.

If you can't get into Be Our Guest you can purchase the same goblets at the gift shop next to Gaston's Tavern.

They have them at gastons tavern. They are plastic.

I think the OP is asking about the light-up castle goblet, which is $18.99. I don't recall seeing it on the menu at Gaston's. Gaston's did have two other options: the Belle/princess goblet (yellow) and the Gaston/Beast stein (brown). Those were $9.99 each, made of plastic, and served with LeFou's Brew.

Love my goblet! It came out with me on New Year's Eve and to some BBQs this summer. :thumbsup2

Correct...it is the Belle goblet and the "beer" stein options at Gaston's Tavern. But the light-up castle goblet IS available for sale at the shop next to Gaston's Tavern. My recollection was that it was about $3 cheaper in the shop than it was at the BOG dinner (probably they're adding the cost of the beverage when you get the drink in it at the meal)

We had to wait a long time to get in for our reservations at BOG back in March. We didn't complain or anything. Just waited. Anyway, they gave the kids each a free Goblet with their meal for our wait. The kids have loved them, and we usually get them out if the girls have a friend over.

I also noticed they sold them at our hotel gift shop. We stayed at POR.

That sound about right. I bought mine back in October 2012 from Bonjour Gifts (the store next to Gaston's Tavern) and it was $15.95 plus tax. (I did also see them at World of Disney in DTD back in October (I can't remember if there were there in March or not).

We have the goblet from BOG and the stein from Gaston's. The boys love it! In fact my DS loved to drink anything out of his BOG glass!

Are the light-up goblets still sold at the shop next to Gaston's tavern? I just want an update because these posts are from 2013.

I called the Mouse a few days ago - they told me I could only purchase the goblet if I dined at BoG, so maybe not?

We love ours I serve juice or even cereal in it every morning to my dd. I light it up before I bring it to her it cheers her up because she's always sad to leave for school in the morning. We bought it over 3 years ago so definitely worth it for us.
