Be Our Guest Restaurant

They are going to have special magical food which will taste wonderful, have no calories, and will be able to be tolerated by people with any conceivable food allergy. And even though you will feel stuffed when you leave, you will have no weight gain.

Please continue. You now have my attention ;)

. I have never heard of a French restaurant the didn't serve wine. I am not a wine drinker, but out of principle that would really bug me.

I do get what you're saying. Do it or don't do it, but please, don't do it halfway :thumbsup2

Oh, and no alcohol. (I deal with that by eating dinner outside the Magic Kingdom, or hitting one of the monorail resort lounges)

Ah, a practical solution :)

I would love if they had animatronics of the enchanted objects like they do of Remy at Chefs. I could see it being a two-credit meal like CRT. Maybe with Belle and the Beast greeting in the lobby. I'd definatly eat there just for the experience if they did that.

We know next to nothing about Be Our Guest except that there was a report on a DIS blog that it would be TS at dinner and CS at lunch. No way to tell if that means the same restaurant will serve CS food at lunch and TS food at dinner, or if the TS restaurant will be closed for service until evening and will provide extra seating for a nearby or attached CS restaurant. Also, rumors that dinner will involve characters somehow - but we don't know if those will be costumed or animatronic (like Remy at Chefs de France) characters.

I can tell you that this restaurant will in fact be a CS restaurant during the day and when dinner hits, it will become a TS meal with magical things happening through the restaurant. It will run similar to La Hacienda in Mexico at EPCOT... CS during the day and TS at night. It is supposed to be a French-American cuisine. The characters will not be costumed... but similar to Remy at Les Chefs de France and other magical things throughout the restaurant. My information comes from some of the Disney "uppers" who are friends of mine. :thumbsup2

I know nothing, except, I am excited and want to eat there :) I was planning on doing a Sept 2012 trip but may push back for December if it is going to open late 2012

Eh, I'll leave it as "I'll believe it when I see it". I'm not going to think a change like that is going to happen based on small details on a rendering.
I'll believe it when I see it too. It may just be fancy virgin cocktails that they serve or non-alcoholic wine.
