Be our guest mine train strategy

I’m in the process of re-planning my trip that was supposed to happen next week…

so...July trip!

We are going to get be our guest breakfast with the intentions of hopefully being first in line for mine train. I have been told that sometimes they will let BOG early breakfast Reservations get on the mine train before rope drop.
1. Is this true
2. Would it be better to do this on a morning where they are also selling early morning magic? I was told they sometimes allow BOG to jump on with them the last 15 minutes.
Anyone have any experience with either strategy?

2 is the exact opposite. You'll have a lower chance of getting a ride on an EMM morning than you will on mornings without it.

There is no way they’d allow people who didn’t pay for the extra morning magic on the ride during the event time. It is not fair to those who paid extra to have those who didn’t pay on ride during the event. In our experiences with EMM they line PPO guests in a line off to the side so there is that advantage but no way would they let PPO guests have 15 minutes or a hard tickets event time without paying for it. I’d be one complaining guests if I paid for EMM and saw PPO guests enjoying the rides and making my wait longer.

When we went last year we were allowed to line up after breakfast and get in the line right before the opening show started. We did the ride and then walked at a brisk pace to PP and waited about 15 minutes there. But as alway YMMV and their are no absolutes at WDW

We were there last week. We went to BoG on a day when there was not EMM. We pre-ordered our food. We were heading out of BoG around 8:40. We were on our way to 7DMT by 8:45. We were on the third train of the day. We could have ridden again before the rope drop crowd arrived if we wanted to, but we went to PPF and pretty much walked on.

1. Sometimes. We have gotten on way early once. Two other times we got on JUST before the rope drop people made it to the line.
2. No. We have still gotten on fine on an EMM just before the rope droppers, but they are not going to give away the cow that other people paid for here.
