What is the deal for BOG lunch without a FP? I think I read there is no line anymore. They give you a time to come back instead of waiting in line? Or are you out of luck without FP? We will be there Tuesday and DD wants to go. Trying to figure out if we need to even try. We have FP's in DHS in the morning, so don't want to come to MK if we won't get in.

I could be wrong but I think the only way to do lunch is with the FP. Next week is going to be very busy with the Holiday.

I thought I saw a poster on here not too long ago that said they waited in line....sometimes if they are already booked for the 10:30-11am slot they will give the people in line fastpasses to return at a later time (ex 11:15-11:30)
Now let me just see if I can find that poster....

Edit: Here it is: "We walked into BOG for lunch, no FP+, no ADR" http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3351569

I was one of the people who walked in with no FP+ earlier this week (Monday). We walked over there at about 10:05 and asked if there was any chance. The CM had a very strong and almost unintelligible-to-me accent, but she motioned to the short line that was already there (3-4 groups) and handed me a menu, so I got the idea that we were waiting. We got in about 10:45 and had a really wonderful lunch. Very quick service but we never felt rushed.

I talked to a friend who was disappointed to have been seated in the Rose Room when she was there for dinner last summer, and realized one nice thing about lunch is you can choose your own table. We sat in the ballroom and watched it "snow" outside the "windows" because my kids said no way no how to eating in the dark and spooky west wing! :)

We were there yesterday for our FP lunch. We checked in at 11. There were many, many groups of disappointed and/or angry people milling around grilling the CMs about the process for getting in for lunch. The CM was telling people that they could line up starting at 9 am to try to get a reservation.

If you already have a day planned in another park, there is no way I would cancel those plans on the off chance that you could get in at BOG.

We are going in two weeks and I am hoping we can find a cancellation spot come open. I have heard great reviews and missed out on reservations. : (
