Trying to get a reservation for lunch in nov. My question is since it is quick service do i really need the reservation or can we just walk up and order food and get a table that way. Thanks.

You could try that, but don't count on getting in. They don't save tables for walk ups.

It's a different kind of QS and I wouldn't try it without and as Alesia said, I doubt you would get in. There are 3 big rooms (maybe 4 I don't remember) you order at little computer kiosks before you get into the dining section, they give you a little plastic rose thingy, which magically tells them where you are seated. You find a seat, get your silver and drinks at a station and they bring your food to the table. You can pre-order if you wish.

Although it is a QS it takes ADR's and it fills to capacity many months in advance. They generally no longer take walk ups. If you want lunch I would book an ADR. If you can not now get one, keep trying, as people do cancel

I had luck splitting up my party. I couldn't find an ADR for 4 so I kept trying different combinations. Last week I was able to snag an ADR for 3 at 1:55 and then I logged on to my husband's account and was able to get an ADR for 1 at 1:50. It wouldn't let me book twice that close together on my account so I had to do the second ressie on DHs account - that I created just for this purpose and is linked to my MDE account. Since BOG lunch is seat yourself, we can all show up at the same time since our reservations are only 5 minutes apart and all sit together.
