Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

Do we have any idea why the webpage will not allow adding to the travel party?

When we utilized the FP for BOG in May, it was only my husband and I. This trip we will be a party of six. When I log into my account, I am unable to modify my travel party, but I can book (testing the system) a FP but only for the two of us.

Any thoughts? :confused3

At present, it only seems to allow you to book for the people staying in the room that your current reservation is based on.

One workaround seems to be to open a second session (in a different browser) and log in using the My Disney Experience account of one of the other guests in the other room, so that window is linked to their booking. Then hit refresh on both browser windows separately until you get fairly closely matching times, and book them.

Are you sure it's reading your new reservation?

Most have found that if you set up the account with a reservation once that number is stuck in the account and you are unable to get it to recognize a new reservation. The only work around for that is to open a new account on the BOG site, using a brand new email address that you've never used there before and then giving the site your newest reservation number. See if that works to get it to recognize your new party.

Now, it will still only recognize the people in that room so if you have more than one room you'll have to use a different work around (post above)

I just read through ten pages and still can't find where the instructions start on how to get a FP for BOG lunch. Can anyone help me? Or at least tell give me an idea on which page number to look at? Thank you

OK so I did a search of this thread...
Really, I tried finding the answer before posting this, but none of the info that came up on posts of this question is working for me.....

I'm trying to log in to the BOG FP+. It asks for a reservation ID, which I would assume is our reservation confirmation (??). Our confirmation contains 2 LETTERS. The BOG site will not accept letters (they disappear immediately) when I try to type them into the box.
This is the "reservation confirmation" that is listed on the "Magic Bands and Cards" page that everyone is directed to when they ask (here) where to find their "Reservation ID". What do you do when yours contains letters??? :confused3

Cut and pasted from the Magic Bands and Cards page....
(I *'d out the final few numbers)

Your MagicBand Order
Quantity: 5
Resort Reservation
Disney's Beach Club Resort
Confirmation Number: 3UM*****
(arrival September 6, 2014)

No idea why it wouldn't come up in a search. probably hard to find the right search term to get the return you want. But the instructions are in the thread numerous times. Searching can be great as long as you can get the right key word, without it, frustrating.

try this:
  • Login to the Disney website.
  • On the My Disney Experience tab, click "My Itinerary"
  • Scroll the calendar to your check in day.
  • On the page, place your cursor on the line that says "View Reservation Details" and right click.
  • Scroll down to "view page source"
  • Then I used the "control F" feature (just hold down control and the F key>it will bring up a "find" box>type in the word "reservationnumber" to find reservationNumber value and the 12 digit code that starts with 44xxxxxxxxxx.

I searched the term "Reservation ID" since that is what the box on the BOG site is asking for. I got many returns to the search but none with the info you supplied. Thanks Will try this!

That's the confirmation number that I tried first as well, but it's not the correct number. When I go to the MDE website > My Reservations and Tickets, there is a "Check In Online" link to the right of the hotel reservation section. When I click on that link, there is a number in the URL that starts with 44 and is 12-digits long. That is the number that worked for me. Others have stated that the URL when you go to Pay online also shows this number.

followed directions to the "On the page, place your cursor on the line that says "View Reservation Details" and right click." part.
When I "right click" those words, these are the only choices that come up:
Open link in new tab
Open link in new window
Open link in incognito window
Save link address....
Copy link address
Inspect element

Why is this number so hard for us to get? It seems like we almost have to hack into something to retrieve it? Big Secret mission!

EDITED to add... I'm using Google Chrome as my browser. Do you maybe need to use Internet Explorer?

Nope. Tried using IE and got a few more choices when I right clicked "View Reservations Details", but none that said, "view page source"
How on earth did
SPOERLX3
even find this "worm hole" to getting this number? crazy!

UPDATE!! FOUND IT!!! I clicked the choice "Inspect Element" and then did the Control F thing and it highlighted the # that starts with 44....

Thanks again!!!

No, it works in Chrome, but you cannot be over the link. When you get to the page with the Reservation Details link, right-click in a blank area of the page, and "View Page Source" will appear, then find "reservationnumber" on the source info, and the 44xxxxxxxxxx number will be next to it (value="44xxxxxxxxxx").

I used the number on the yellow DME luggage tags, 12 digits starts with a 4

I saw your previous post in this thread that you did that, but we haven't gotten our tags yet. We don't leave til 9/6 so we won't get our tags for a little while yet, but I wanted to be all registered and able to access the dates ahead of time. I was not able to secure the BOG FP+ at this time, but at least I've got access to it and a feel for how it works.... for when the date opens up for our trip.

Thanks everyone! :thumbsup2

I found it on Chrome by clicking on the choice: Inspect Element and that brought up a page with lots of numbers and letters that almost seemed to be in code..... On that bizarre looking page, I did the "CNTRL F" search of "reservationnumber" and it found the 44 number!

Well, now, thats yet another way of finding this "mysterious" 44... Reservation ID number! I hope others run across this info. Very helpful!

I see you found it but it isn't really hard to get. Did you ever call Disney to ask for it? While that doesn't always work as some CMs won't provide it there are some that will.

I've never been so grateful for a room only reservation before ;)
