Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

I see you found it but it isn't really hard to get. Did you ever call Disney to ask for it? While that doesn't always work as some CMs won't provide it there are some that will.

I've never been so grateful for a room only reservation before ;)

I did think of calling disney and asking for it, but honestly the people on disboards seem to be more "in the know" than many CM's I've spoken to in the past. I pictured myself spending 10mins explaining to the CM what number I'm asking for... while I know here, people would know exactly what I'm talking about! Thanks for all the help! Success! :thumbsup2 Next step.... actually making the FP+. (fingers crossed)

So, for those tracking the current "test" . . .

We arrive Aug 3.

We were able to reserve FP+ for Aug 4 on Tuesday, July 8, which was the day after the 4 week mark.

On July 9, I got the "Bonjour" invitation email. Check your spam and promotions folders for an email from DisneyNotifications. It contains your Resort Reservation Number.

Good luck!!

I found it on Chrome by clicking on the choice: Inspect Element and that brought up a page with lots of numbers and letters that almost seemed to be in code..... On that bizarre looking page, I did the "CNTRL F" search of "reservationnumber" and it found the 44 number!

I can assure you it wasn't me that found the worm hole :rotfl:
I got if from someone else on the page so I don't want to take their glory :thumbsup2

I also found it like this:
I posted it many, many, many pages back

I was going into my account to make a payment and found it there.

  • Log into your account on disneyworld.com
  • Hover over MyDisneyExperince till you see the options
  • Click on My Reservations and tickets
  • Under "Disney Resort Hotel Reservation" you will see your reservation details
  • Click on "view details" at the bottom of the reservation details
  • A box will pop up that will show more details on the left and your travel party avitars on the right.
  • At the top right under "Reservations for X", you will see "balance due (due by XXXXXXXX) $x,xxx.xx USD Make a payment"
  • Click on "Make a payment"
  • Now, look at the URL web address.
  • It will look like this: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/reservation/resort/44XXXXXXXXXX/payments/

This (12 digit # I have bolded) is your reservation number. It will start with a 4.

I am glad you found it!:cool1:

right, except today that make a payment link hasn't worked all day on the site for me. it says it can't give me any information right now.

At present, it only seems to allow you to book for the people staying in the room that your current reservation is based on.

One workaround seems to be to open a second session (in a different browser) and log in using the My Disney Experience account of one of the other guests in the other room, so that window is linked to their booking. Then hit refresh on both browser windows separately until you get fairly closely matching times, and book them.

Andre

Thanks for the information. Looks as if that may be our alternative.

Are you sure it's reading your new reservation?

Most have found that if you set up the account with a reservation once that number is stuck in the account and you are unable to get it to recognize a new reservation. The only work around for that is to open a new account on the BOG site, using a brand new email address that you've never used there before and then giving the site your newest reservation number. See if that works to get it to recognize your new party.

Now, it will still only recognize the people in that room so if you have more than one room you'll have to use a different work around (post above)

No it isn't recognizing my new reservation number but does allow me to book, e.g., July 16, 2014 was open to me with multiple times and I was able to book it through the end and get confirmation. I'm guessing it is recognizing my May stay and we have APs as well. It is certainly not giving me dates beyond a week or so.

do you have 2 rooms for the 6 people? if so the people in the other room need their own FP+ using their resort reservation#.

We have three rooms for six adults. Unfortunately,or maybe fortunately based on the above, none of the other parties has their own MDE account.

Am I correct that those staying at Dolphin are not eligible even with a linked reservation?

correct, Dolphin guests can not use BOG FP+

the people in the other 2 rooms do not need to have an MDE account to book FP+ for their rooms. My sister does not have an MDE account but does have a disneystore.com account and she gave me her log in and password and I made her family an FP+. You or they can get up a Disney account, I think an ESPN acct works too and then make FP+ for their rooms.

I used the number on the yellow DME luggage tags, 12 digits starts with a 4

My luggage tags each have two numbers, 12 digits each, both starting with a 44. Is that the same for you? How do you know which number is the right one?

Here is a re-post of how I found my confirmation number.
If the BOG FP website is showing previous reservation information, you will need to use your confirmation number to re-register using a different email address.

Have a beautiful day everyone!:flower3:

Thank you so much, I appreciate the time it took to answer my question. Sadly, I did follow these directions and there was no Make Payment option. My packet was also lost in the mail, and another one is being sent but it won't be here until the end of this coming week, so I can't find it on the MDE tags either. I feel lucky we got to do it in April, but was hoping to surprise the kids. Thanks again for helping out everyone!

Is there a particular time of day the fastpasses become available? If the current tend continues I have a while to wait but I want to be ready when the day I want does open.

SGMCO, do you have firefox?
And if you do, did you try this?

  • Login to the Disney website.
  • On the My Disney Experience tab, click "My Itinerary"
  • Scroll the calendar to your check in day.
  • On the page, place your cursor on the line that says "View Reservation Details" and right click.
  • Scroll down to "view page source"
  • Then I used the "control F" feature (just hold down control and the F key>it will bring up a "find" box>type in the word "reservationnumber" to find reservationNumber value and the 12 digit code that starts with 44xxxxxxxxxx.

I know how desperate you are and how frustrating it must be.:worried:

THANK YOU!!! When I had given up hope, I decided maybe it was my Mac that was the problem. I switched to my DH's PC and these directions worked and I found the reservation number the CM's said I didn't have. I got a FP+ for the day I wanted and only a little bit later than we would have liked on July 31st. Thank you everybody for taking the time to show what worked for you and reposting for us. We are so excited...only 2 weeks now!

Thanks to all for your tips, especially the one about refreshing the page to get the time you need. Worked like a charm! The tips on how to get a FP for everyone when having multiple rooms was also super helpful!! Thank you everyone!! Got my reservations for my whole family all set for 8/7 this morning and it wouldn't have gone so well without the tips I learned here! Good luck to everyone!!

this is why the DIS is such a great resource, we learn so many things that make our trips better.

I highly recommend the braised pork at BOG. It was more like a TS meal than a CS and was the best meal of the trip for me.

That was the hardest Ressie to get. Going on a hunt for Res. ID. Wow! I am glad I got it. Thanks Everyone!!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay::yay:
