Be Our Guest Lunch Fastpass

SORRY for being super repetitive with my question but ive been reading pages and pages and going blind...I only heard about doing the lunch fast pass on the podcast show and I dont see anything anywhere about how you actually do it. I have seen the website mentioned on these pages and it says its for testing...so is this an actual thing that you can do or is this something people are just trying to figure out ways to do? I was under the impression it was an actual fast pass that you could use on your day and was only wondering if it was a 60 day thing like attractions or 180 like dining, now Im all confused after looking through this...anyone care to indulge someone having their first plan with FP+ experience? All i really want to do is see the place could care less about food but B&B is my fave Disney movie ...cant get a dinner res at all for my week like most ppl so was hoping to try a fast pass for this and wait in line as my last resort eating lunch at 1030am lol - Thanks

Hey, you're from Tewksbury. Cool. :goodvibes

BOG FP+ is a real thing. It's in "testing" because the system is currently separate from all other dining and FastPass reservation systems. Also, it's only available to those with a Disney resort reservation.

You visit the beourguestlunch.disney.go.com web site and sign in with your disneyworld.com user name and your 16 digit resort reservation number starting with the number 4. (Any other reservation number with letters in it isn't a resort reservation number -- most likely a confirmation number from the Walt Disney Travel Company.)

Lunch FP+ slots are currently only available for May and June dates. If you trip is later, you may see the dates of your trip appearing in the system, but with no slots available. This means dates for your trip are forthcoming. Following this thread will help you to know when new dates are released.

Once you make a BOG FP+ reservation, the only place you see it is on the beourguestlunch web site. It won't appear in My Disney Experience and it doesn't count as one of your daily attraction FastPasses.

The system allow you to either make a reservation only, or a reservation plus place your food order. You can also make the reservation and then come back later to add a food order.

You can only hold one BOG FP+ per reservation number. Once you use the first one during your trip, you can try to get a second one.

Be Our Guest is worth seeing and experiencing both for the restaurant itself and the food -- it's excellent.

Where would I find my 12 digit resort reservation # for booking BOG? I have my 8 digit confirmation # and I know that's not the one needed, but can't figure out where to find the 12 digit one.

Thanks for your help (and sorry if this has been asked a million times) :)

Log onto "My Disney Experience" and click on My Reservations & Tickets.. It will show you your resort reservation...

It'll work if you use the number associated with your magic bands. It's different than the resort reservation/confirmation number.

I've went to the site https://beourguestlunch.disney.go.com/ and attempted to sign in. It asks for your MDE email and password which I have entered correctly numerous times. The problem is the "Sign In" button is "greyed out" and unselectable. Anyone have a guess as to why that might be?? I've also tried the Create New Account button but it won't accept my info saying that the email given is linked to another users account. Yeah MINE. The one that won't let me sign in. I have no problems signing into MDE at all. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Other boards are reporting the same problem. I don't why this is but I am wondering if they discovered the glitch and are only allowing to book this FP+ by invitation as it was initially intended.

I hadn't heard of the invitation only concept. How does one go about getting an inviation then? Also, if I can't get a FP for lunch here, what is the likelihood of even eating lunch here at the end of August? Should I just scrap this idea?

Again, i am not sure if what i said is indeed what is happening for sure; i would keep trying for the next few days and keep an eye on this board but the BOG lunch FP+ was initially intended to be by email invite only and then somebody posted the link, found a way around it and we all got it. If you call Disney they will tell you that it is only by invite but lots of people got it without the email and used the FP+ without a problem.

However, if you cannot get it i would wait and see if you get the email, i got it at my 30 days mark; some people said they got it one or two days before arrival so i am not sure how it works.

To answer your question about eating there at the end of August, you can always try stand by line but those i have heard are pretty ling so it is up to you, i would just have a plan B just in case.

Hope that helps.

I am not sure if this will help anybody, but I will post it in case.

We are dvc members. We have two stays booked. One is just my immediate family, the other is with another family.

I had entered my name and reservation for the first stay.

Later I went and entered the reservation for the second stay, but it only found the four people in my immediate family. I thought it must be that the time hadn't opened yet so I would go back every once in a while and check but it would only list the four of us in my family.

I mentioned it a couple of times to cast members because I thought it was weird that the reservation had nine names on it but it only showed me four. One told me that since it was invitation only it was only inviting my family, but it didn't make sense to me because I thought it would "know" us by the reservation.

The second one said something that tipped me off. She said "it already knows you from your first reservation." So I went back and entered a new e-mail and password and another person's name that is on the second reservation and the reservation number and voila, there was the party of nine.

It looks like it, for now at least, it can only "know" your email/password fron one reservation. If you have two reservations, you won't be able to use the same name for the second one. Or at least that is how it worked for me.

It doesn't link to MDE at all in any way. It won't show on your MDE list of reservations. So if it already "knows" your MDE user name and password and won't let you log on, try using a new e-mail/password and another person's name on the reservation and the reservation number. Come back and tell me how it worked.

that was true for me aswell. Ee have a split stay and had to use a different email address for each part of the stay x

Hmmmm....I just did it and it worked. It listed the days that I am booked in November. Well, four of the days. I'm checking here to see if anyone knows how far out you can make a bog fp reservation? I've read 30 days. I'm assuming that when it says "there are no fastpasses available" it means that I'm too far out to reserve and not that they've all been given out.

I can't find my reservation number. I have looked on MDE and tried my magic band number from my last trip. No such luck:( The only thing that I see on MDE is my conf. #

Smurfgirl, The 12 digit confirmation number starting with a 4 is what you are suppose to use.

Update from me: I tried to login using my phone and the "sign in" button was not greyed out. So it allowed me to sign in using my phone but tried again on my computer and it was still greyed out.

Next, I tried to "sign up" using my DW email and it said that email was being used by another member. So tried a different one of my emails using her info and that worked on my home PC. Now I'm hesitant to log out not knowing if the "sign in" button is going to be greyed out again. Hoping it doesn't automatically sign me out after a certain timeframe.

The first 7 of our 9 days shows up for selection. I got as far as picking my date (which is the end of August) and it said there were no fastpasses available for the selected date. I know they haven't released them this far in advance yet but atleast I got in. Thanks for the suggestions folks. I'll be sure to keep updating my status.

I got a quick answer to whether or not it would keep me logged in or not. The answer is NOT. Logged out after about 5 minutes and the sign in button is now greyed out again. Kind of frustrating but I'll keep trying new things.

Another Update:

I tried the login page in Google Chrome instead of IE (pretty sure my IE is not up to date) and at first the "sign in" button was greyed out. So I started entering my email and password anyway. As soon as I started to enter the password, the sign in button turned green. Voila, I'm in. For those who are having troubles with the sign in button being greyed out, either try updating IE or use a different browser. Now just have to wait till they open up my dates. What's your best guess how long out they open up dates. Thought I read they are currently only open till the end of June.
