Yeah, I am staying May 15 til 25 and it only lets me try to make FP+ for May 15 til 21.
When you are able to make the BOG FP+, it will only show the first 7 days if your vacation. After your first day, day 8 will open, after your second day, day 9 will open, etc.
Not to get anyone worried or anything, but has anyone recently heard about someone using the link & getting turned away when they check in?
I saw some posts earlier on this thread about this happening to those who did and did not receive the invite. Just wondering if there were any updates?
I would not like to have a plan just to go there & get turned away. Main reason being that there are no other QS restaurants in that park that I'd be willing to use my DDP credits on (yes, I've tried the others), so I'd have to leave the park & go back after eating. I used the link for my trip early this month w/no issues (except the system did not keep our order so we had to do it again on the touch screen there..no big deal). When I booked it back in February, I was unaware that you technically should've received the email before booking. I did end up getting the email on the morning before we left (our check in date). The other problem for me is that if I leave before I get the email, I have no way of checking b/c I don't have a smartphone & do not travel w/my laptop.
I haven't used the FP yet but if you had trouble using it wouldn't you be better off doing standby than trying to leave the park? From what I've read the line moves relatively quickly.
Keep in mind you won't be turned away from BOG... just invited to get in line with the rest of the non-FP+ un-invitees! Lol!
JK, of course! Most people have reported that if they had a copy of the email, or a screen-shot/print-out of their name and on-line confirmation time they have had no issues. But I forgot mine and did have an issue (I know! 'm I bad?) It was there when I checked that morning, but the CM could not find it in their system anywhere when I arrived at the podium. So the motto of every DISer on a Mission for BOG should be "Come Prepared!"![]()
It starts with a 4
You are welcome! And good luck in dining there this trip. It is so worth it!![]()
We are traveling with my brother and his family. So there are 6 of us in total. We are under 2 seaparate reservations and are fully linked to each other on MDE.
Will we be able to make FP+ reservations for BOG for lunch for our entire party of 6 when our time comes?
Out of curiosity I went to the reservation link and it is only showing myself and DH. It didn't give me the option to add the other people I'm linked to via MDE.
We aren't going until August, so I know our dates aren't available yet.
But I was wondering if anyone has had experience making 1 reservations for multiple parties? I know people have done it with little issue for the normal FP+ system for attractions. But I've not seen anyone talk about it for BOG yet.
Thanks!
your brother will have to make a separate FP+ for his family. My sister and I used the BOG FP+ last October and she gave me her Disneystore.com log in and password to make their FP+. I did one in Internet Explorer and the other in Firefox to keep the accounts separate. It was easy and our times overlapped and we checked in together.
Thanks for that! And BOG was okay with you showing up together and sitting at the same table? Did you pre-select your meals?

yes, we checked in during the "overlap" time frame. You sit where ever you want. We did preselect our meals and I customized some of them. Only issue we had was that we had the DDP and my sister needed to pay OOP for her 2 year old but when I checked off DDP when making the FP+ they included the 2 year old in the credits being used. Sis had to straighten that out at the kiosk.
I had the braised pork and it was wonderful
