Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

I check in 12-2 and was able to get a 12/3 lunch last night. Have you tried a different browser?

I've been trying since Sunday (which I know was early, but was still trying anyway) and haven't been able to see past Nov 29. Tried on IE today instead of firefox and my ipad but getting the error message.

I'm going to be so upset if I can't get one. It's my 30th birthday and I really want to eat lunch there.
 
Not the time I hoped for. 120-150 on the 4th. Was hoping for later.

Does anyone else not see the grilled chicken as a choice on the fp site? It's what 2 of my kids would eat....

Did you read the FAQs in the first post, which says that you need to press the Refresh button in your browser to be offered different times until you find one that you want?

We hit day 27 this morning. After getting the error message using IE and Firefox on the laptop and Firefox on the phone, tried the generic Android internet browser on the phone and was able to get in.

Unfortunately, the only time available for our entire eight day trip (12/4-12/11) was two hours after we land.

it's 27 days from the date you want to eat there,not check in. 12/5 should be available tomorrow, 12/6 on Sunday....for the first 7 days of our trip.

I could cry... We are there 12/1 to 12/4, I can only book 11/23 to 11/29 for lunch :(
 
I'm not sure why it wasn't working on my account. I tried to use a 2nd account and got the same dates. I used an account I made for my DH and it worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got the exact time I wanted for my birthday.

Now I'm not sure how we are going to get in, as all of our tickets and magic bands are linked on MY account. How will they know I have a FP+? I printed the confirmation but not sure if that is enough to get us in.

you will be fine, the BOG FP+ is not associated with MBs or park tickets, just your room reservation.

Yep. Every time I tried to refresh, I got the error screen. I logged out and back in a dozen times before I thought...I'd better take the offered time before there's nothing left...

We're there the same days, and I can only see to November 13th. We actually arrive on November 20th, and I have not been able to get any of my reservations to work, despite making multiple new accounts for each reservation. Extremely frustrating!
 
We used the BOG FP last October and it was great. On Oct 24 of this year, I had another FP+ for BOG. When we checked in this time, they then pointed us to the line to wait!!! I said, oh no, we have a FP and was told, we needed to wait. Several others like us walked over feeling confused. When in that line, I then called over a cast member and told her we have a FP with pre ordered food and felt like we were wrongly put in this line. She then waved us over the left side to walk right down. No wait in line but not as smooth as last year's FP when we got inside.

When we were done with lunch, I found a manager to ask what the situation was with FP and being told to wait in line. He said that they are moving to FP only for BOG lunches and the FP ONLY guarantees you a spot for lunch - you will then need to wait in line! I said - WHAT?! The wait we were quoted was 45 minutes that day, which would have cut into our space mountain fast pass. So, be warned...and I hope this is a short test and they realize how ridiculous it is!

I had checked it several times on the website to be sure and it was always there but when I pulled up the BOG website to show her it was gone! She asked to see the email invite I received. I told her I didn't get an email however the website allowed me to book. She said that because I booked as a third party (did not get an email) they most likely changed my window and I missed it. She allowed us to go in anyway thankfully but just a heads up that if you book without receiving an email check your reservation that day in case it gets changed.

I understand that you might not have received an original e-mail to book if for instance you booked through a travel agent. That's what I did and could explain why I did not receive a booking e-mail. However, once you register on the bog system using a e-mail address, I would have thought they could have sent any e-mail notification regarding a change to the e-mail associated with the reservation (if for example a travel agent) plus the e-mail for your bog account.
 
If I am trying to change our FP time, is it best to cancel my existing reservation or to keep trying? The only option that continues to come up is the one that we already have it. Thanks!
 
I apologize if someone has already posted an answer to this problem...

I just logged in and was able to make my lunch reservation, but it's listing all four of us twice and it won't let me change the guests...any idea what to do or who to call? I don't want to select food choices until I can fix this.

Any ideas? TIA!

Does anyone suggest just going ahead and making food selections then (for all 'eight' of us) and hoping we can resolve it when we arrive? I'd rather make selections ahead of time than wait in another long line to select them when we arrive.

We have not pre ordered our meals so I don't have any experience with that. Does it force you to order eight meals? Or will it allow you to order only four?
